out of curiosity: would anyone trade their Star Trek for my Berzerk? (MD)
I have a Berzerk upright, and I've wanted a Star Trek for a while. Just thought I'd put feelers out to see if there's any interest.
The game plays fine, when it's warming up sometimes it will have a horizontal hold issue (the graphics squeeze down to a single line in the middle of the screen), but it goes away once the game has warmed up. It's been like that since I got it 2 years ago. It does not have the bat joystick, it never has in the time I have owned it.
The game originally had the "Berzerk" logo covered up on the top sides, no clue why, looked like original black paint covering it. I uncovered the logo on one side but left the other covered (just never got around to stripping the paint).
This game was owned by at least 4-5 other KLOVers which I think is pretty cool. I have the history info on the members that I know had it before me.
I'm basically looking for something new for my arcade without spending any money on another game, thus the trade offer. It's OK if the ST is an upright, it's OK if it's in a Tempest cab, and it's OK if it's complete but not working. I like tinkering with these games as long as the problem isn't too insane.
I can bring the Berzerk to the Baltimore area to help out during any potential exchange.
Thanks!
