Seeing Billy Mitchell showing up for an event that he isn't even competing in was cool. Makes him look like less of an egotist than what people lead you to believe...

But was he really at the event? It seems like he was in a vacuum when they filmed him.

Cool video man ... I wish I was still working with my DuPont clients regularly. I am sure Wilmington can't be too far from your place ...

Great event! I would love to have seen that in person. It made me miss my Tron really bad even though its been gone for 4 years.

As for Billy, I don't actually know the guy, nor have I met him in person. Several years ago when I was working on games for a living, he bitched me out over the phone about some cocktail multi project that I had nothing to do with and no real knowledge of. He was being a real asshat about it. Maybe he's different now, it was 8 years ago.

Billy met my family and my daugters. He gave my little ones a whole Toy Story gift bag of stuff. The best present being a 6X9 custom made Buzz Lightyear rug for Faithie's room.
It rules.

Not to mention Steve Sanders is also a class act. His son Zack is in a band and we really bonded over tour stories and my experiences in the music biz.

From what I hear Billy Jr and Zack Sanders are buggin the old timers to make another trip to NJ before March's Kong Off.

Not sure what that means, we had "fans blowing on him" (no jokes plese) to give him the Fabio enters a room effect (JK)

In the video it just seemed like he was removed from the event. Maybe it's just the way they filmed it.

That documentary was great, congrats bro! Wish I would have made it.

Im more interested in seeing the 154K Paperboy game. Thats nuts.

FTA: " 16) Tri-Force Johnson, Vs. Super Mario, 2,873,050 "

Now that is a name worthy of a World Record. Damn.

Which route? I can do 154K on even a broken machine,
unless you mean Easy Street. That might be tough.

Yeah, on Easy Street. 120K is my high, and I really dont know where else to get points from. For whatever reason, no one likes to share tips on this game. I'd love to watch someone who knows what they are doing play. Ive only talked seriously to one other person, and he and I were about the same level (120K) as far as play went. We cant offer each other anymore help. He's since sold his though...

are you efficient with your papers?
do you smash tons of non-subscriber windows?
run over their flowers?
are you good at ZAP'ing things like tires,
lawnmowers, people, etc? (big points)

i go slow through the levels, almost to where
the bees emerge. "point-pressing" i guess?
but ironically i could care less about world
records and tournaments. i always just wanted
my name on the machine. preferably in the top spot.

There is a barber shop 2 spots down from my arcade. Brian (the owner) allowed me to move the pins into his shop for the event. we needed to free up some space.
