You can fix anything with duct tape.

I actually know this guy! I met him a couple of months ago, he contacted me to fix a game he had (bank panic conversion) after he slid it down the steps on its side he didn't open the cab to make sure nothing had shifted because he didn't have a key LMAO!!

This is not at all the true story, he actually had it strapped to the trailer, but wasn't paying attention while backing up to his garage and didn't realize the game was too tall to fit in, so he continued to back up thus smashing his game and his garage door frame (I think I still have pictures on my phone, but it was dark)!!

He had just bought a HUGE house and wanted to make the basement an arcade and theater for his kids that he has on the weekends. He also had a DK 3 and a Top skater...
But apparently he has changed his mind on the arcade as he has listed all of his machines on CL with a Hefty markup (as he told me very proudly what he paid for all of his machines)

It's not like the guy needs the cash, as he also very proudly made that clear, he is a lead engineer for mercades-benz (also has two parked in his garage) and has a private jet (which he had pictures of!)

So one can only assume he thinks he is sitting on a gold mine, which is why I charged him $120 to install a switcher in the bank panic that he toasted the old PS in... That and the fact that he called me at 1AM to do it because he needed it done by the next day because his boys would be there!

So there is my rant on this thread....

Ahh world series I have one of these and for being made in 85" it's pretty fun. I paid $150 in near mint shape along with another cab and a miniature Pinball.

So how much did he pay?

First off this guy is crazy at that price for anything that broke...LOL Its also funny that someone knows him and the real story (thanks for sharing by the way.)

Second is this game any fun at all? I know a guy in Utah that wants to "give me the game" says it has been acting up then quit and he doesn't want to deal with it anymore. I am not a baseball fan or have payed any baseball games, other then wii,, but free how can i pass it up ya dig..Do tell.

So how much did he pay?

DK3- $150

Bank Panic - $100

Top Skater - $200

World Series - $150

Im surprised it still works after a jolt like that...

It didn't, he had no clue why it wouldn't LMAO! I opened it and luckily for him the harness had only popped off, put it back on and amazingly it fired up!

So he wants $100 MORE for it after he smashed the shit out of it? Makes sense...drives a Benz, insta-douche.

lol, The biggest shock for me was the top skater, like I said he paid $200 for it, Don't get me wrong the game is in pretty good shape, the only real issue is the brightness of the screen ain't what it used to be and a monitor that big I have no clue how you would repair it... but He wants $2150?!?! Thats a $1950 profit! And even then your going to have to pack that big SOB up his steps and outta his basement!
