OT: Should I get a traffic light?

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the prices gjinc. I will most likely be getting one, but now a lot cheaper thanks to you. Maybe I will just go back in there, and bring a bunch of cheap ads with me, and haggle them down to a reasonable price.

If it's been there a while they are more likely to negotiate, so you've got that going for you. What you might try is going in and offering something low and letting them talk you up a bit. If they don't bite this week, try again in two weeks. The longer it sits and you keep reminding them of it, the more likely they are to take something just to be rid of it.

Alot of cities have city run stores that sell street signs, traffic lights, fire equipment etc.. I know Dallas has one.

The traffic lights are cool I have both the L.E.D version and the non L.E.D version but decided not to have them on because they are very bright and take the darkness of your gameroom away depending on if you have a large room or not I have a garage gameroom so it's small and perfer the blacklight look instead but it looks cool next to my High speed pinball it fits the theme.

I have a 12" one I picked upf or $25 at the flea market. It had the original 140watt bulbs in it and let me tell you with all of them on it was so bright you couldn't even use the room!! I put like 10 or 15 watt standard bulbs in it and that was better.

Heck, in Cranston you can just go down to the highway dept. on Phoenix Ave and take as many as you want. They have a mountain of old ones all sitting in a pile.

They are behind the building next to the two totaled police cruisers. I haven't been down there in a while, but they have been there forever.

The have a pile of old CRT TV and monitors on the opposite side and whenever I ask the old guy that works out back, he always says: "Yeah, it's just junk – take whatever you want – just don't make a mess". Like I could possibly make the place any more of a mess. :)

The slick setup is to put one in your garage and hook it up to a parking sensor. Set it to green when you first pull in, yellow at the halfway point, and red once fully parked.
