OT FS: modded Xbox 360

Anyone interested in a modded Xbox 360? I have an extra one I'm going to be selling. Works great, but I just don't need two of them. It is a Pro model, with the chrome DVD bezel and HDMI. System with standard AV cable and power brick, no controller.

I'll probably have a regular, unmodded one for sale in a couple of days too.

I may have an extra HDD too, haven't decided if I want to part with that yet.

Well, I guess that depends on what you consider cheap. $175

It shouldn't be. I bought it as unbanned, and I don't play online. I don't even have a Live account.

Forgive me for my ignorance but, what is modded on in? Is there any way you can test it with a live account?
The DVD ROM firmware is modded so that you can play backups of games. In most cases you can play online just fine unless the XBOX was previously detected by Microsoft to have been modded.

In order to play on XBL with a modded console you will have to keep updating the firmware with the latest files. If the modded XBOX 360 is banned from XBL you can still use it to play games and backups. For me playing on XBL is one of the major reasons I have a X360 so while I have been tempted to use a modded one I wouldn't want to have my console and gamertag banned. Once your gamertag is banned any MS points and XBL gold time that you might have paid for are gone.

I'll try, but I'm not really sure how I'm going to do it. I don't have the MS wireless adapter for it, and it's nowhere near my router to hard wire it.

Alright, so I created a Live ID and tested it for sure. This box IS NOT BANNED. (Luckily I had just enough CAT-5 around to make a big-ass patch cable running from my computer room upstairs to my living room downstairs.)

Forgive me, but I know NOTHING about these things, but I think my son might like to have one. He currently plays on a PS2.

Does it have a hard drive, if so, what size? Can you store games on the hard drive?

Hard drive not included, but I may have an extra one later on to sell. You can store games on the hard drive, but not very many, and the disc still has to be in the DVD drive to play. I've never bothered to do it myself.

I'll give you your choice of case color: standard white or black,....... maybe even silver, or Pac Man yellow (those 2 will add a day or two to shipping out time).

Here are pics in the stock white case, and the black and chrome case.
