OT: FREE Non-Working RCA Projection TV - Richmond, VA (Midlothian)
****** Sadly this has met the dumpster ******
People moved out from one of the storage units and left behind this projection TV. Storage manager brought it by my unit and asked if I know anyone who wants it so I figured I'll post it here and see if can be saved.
I plugged it in and it has a slight chirp noise. Other than that it's dead. The screen is in good condition and the cab is in ok shape. The vinyl on the front left and right molding is gone but could be painted black. I took a quick look and did not notice any obvious blown caps or components but I do not have any experience with projection TV's to check any further.
There is a schematic sheet under one of the PCB trays.
If any one wants it to repair or for parts let me know by Thursday as it will hit the dumpster on Friday if there are no takers.
Pictures are crappy as my droid camera's flash is not working. I think it's either a 46 or 50" screen but I'm not sure.
