Orlando Auction - How was it?

Huge, deals everywhere!!!

It was my first auction, and I am very happy with the results. There must have been 200 upright machines, and a ton of sitdowns, jukes, and various other things. mustve been 400-500 peices alltogether.

I got a timecrisis cabinet with everything but the monitor for $25. A 4 slot neogeo with 4 games and a crack in the wood for 150, a lethal enforcers for 85, a metal slug 4 one slot neo for 200 (meh deal but i was auction happy), and a working WAR Final Assault for 375. I was very happy :)

I missed it, saw the pics and results. I wouldof grabbed the dedicated Qix, the Rygar in {green taito cab} just for the cab as well and a few other goodies/parts/cabs for restore. I won't miss the next one, I believe its in either Nov. or Dec.

...

I was there..
The quality of the games there has really dropped. In the late 90's, up until 2003/2004 there were a lot of classics and nice unconverted machines.. Now a bunch of crap. I think that auction has hit rock bottom a long time ago, both with quality of machines and prices.
The pinball row use to be 20-50 pins (a few times I saw over 100 pins), now a days 8-15 pins.

Its a good place to meet up with people and talk games :)
