Hey all,
I have an Orion PBW 2018 monitor in my WWF Superstars cab that could use a little help. I haven't found a scan of the manual or at least the schematics yet. It looks to have been capped already and the only cap cap that looked suspect was the large B+ filter cap which I've already replaced. The biggest concern I have with the monitor is the jittery vertical size. It seems to only happen after the game has been running for a few minutes so I'm thinking maybe cold solder but I just tried turning the vertical size pot back and forth to see if that might help the pot if it's dirty. I'll see if that helps it at all and if not I plan to pull the chassis and look at it closer. The other issue I'm having is some kind of interference in the picture. I had a very similar issue with a K7000 in my Double Dragon and removing the monitor's frame ground got rid of it, but in this case that didn't help. I'd also like to be able to check the B+ but without a manual or schematic I wasn't sure where to check for it or what it should be. If anyone has any info or even an opinion on this monitor, please feel free to share. I plan to use it unless it's a really terrible and unreliable monitor. This is my first "oddball" monitor too.
