Orion Chassis Schematic?

I just picked up an Orion chassis from 8Liners for a picture tube that I harvested from a 20" Phillips TV...

Tube=A48JLL90X Horiz=3.2 Vert=15.2 Neck=8 pin

8Liners has no schematic info on this chassis.... does anyone have any info or where to get a schematic for the orion chassis.... (I don't recall the model number of the chassis)

Verify but it sounds like that tube would be a good candidate for a K7000 chassis. On the list in my sig I have the specs for the Zenith K7000 but I think the normal ones run around 14ohm/3ohm on the yoke.

Funny thing... I was cleaning out my basement and had about 4 VGA CRT monitors to get rid of and in the back was this old phillips TV that was my daughters years ago... I looked at it and thought... man that tube looks like its the right size... I gutted it and found the number on your list... Shot off an email to 8liners to see if they had a replacement and they did!

This orion chassis was 85 bucks shipped. I've not fired it up yet so the jury is still out on this. The quality of this replacement chassis isn't all that good... at least to me... it seems pretty flimsy and all of the controls for it are crammed on a daughter board that plugs in vertically... there is virtually nothing on the neck board.

Thanks for the links... interesting that the model I have calls out a 14" CRT on their spec sheet....

Alva Amusement was at one time (or may still) distributing the Korion chassis in several versions.

I got the chassis up and running... thought I'd share a few pics with the crowd...

Initial impressions... not bad ... there is a little wave effect on the left 1/4 side of the screen in the green area of Millipede... not sure if this is an anomaly of the chassis or my hodge-podge setup.

Color is great! Geometry is great... Pixels are crisp... it has a little curl on the top ... especially with the color green.

But heck... I think I can probably adjust most of the quirks out... or at least good enough. Jury is still out on longevity... although I doubt I will stress it too much to test that.

Beats the pants off of that MatsuSHITa that is in my Millipede now!!! I'm stripping that frame of its tube and chassis and putting this tube and chassis on it.
