original vintage posters

I used to manage video arcades in shopping malls and street locations so I got these from the companies we bought our machines from. I also got some from industry shows I attended like the AMOA in Chicago.

That's great if you are content on spending less money on crappy quality but don't expect everyone else to agree with you.

I collect original posters. Original posters are hard to find and have a lot of value. There were a couple i couldn't find so I bought his reproductions and they are nowhere near as good as the originals.

Anyone can use a copy machine but few can reproduce artwork properly.

Everyone has an opinion. It just sucks that you feel the necessity come off like a douchebag. But so be it. There are some in every hobby...

Sell some of them to HSS. Then we'll all have some. :)

I'd like to have a copy of that I,Robot poster. Cool.

Add my vote to the "sell/loan to HSS" so he can scan. I have one of his Joust posters framed and it is fantastic! I'd love to see more added to his collection!

Thanks for the "positive" comments. :shakehands:
I'd like to see HSS provide more great posters.
Maybe one day ->

Wow that's awesome. Would love to have that centipede poster. Luckily I already have most of the other originals already. I am into them for a couple grand.

Dear god, what a shitfest. :p

I respect people for wanting to get their hands on the originals. Buy 'em and maybe loan them - but I don't think people should be bashed for wanting to buy fairly and "in line" instead of somebody else getting them, WTF?

If you collect original posters, then why are you so butt hurt and bitching about the quality of reproductions.
That a ridiculously stupid comment.

Stick with buying your originals and dont buy reproductions.
Dont bash somebody else for selling them.

No offense to anyone in particular but these posters don't deserve to be raster scanned and printed in blurry inkjet ink garbage. They look terrible but nobody wants to admit it.

It's 2017, They deserve perfect reproductions, and If you cant compete at that quality level, swallow your pride and let someone who has the capabilities to do it right, do it.

Seriously. I think enough people are sick of "repro" posters that come out looking like pixeated magazine scans on inkjet ink on cheap paper. Enough if enough already.
