Where are you located? My friend in Connecticut has 4 or 5 of them that he will be selling. He's a cash on pickup seller so no worries there. I'm not sure what the price will be but can find out. I have bought several games from him and he has always been fair. Almost done restoring my cockpit

I am located in Nebraska near Omaha. Connecticut may be a bit too far for me to drive and pick up. I would consider having it shipped if the price of the cabinet plus the packaging/shipping costs aren't way out of my league, and the cabinet was in fair enough shape. I wouldn't mind learning more about this if you could ask your friend.

I was also a near victim. I was negotiating a separate purchase of the Total Carnage board with this guy but got suspicious when he insisted on Zelle, bank transfer or check. And he could not point me to any sites or forums where he had any seller feedback. Also, he had a number of other responses about his background that were not consistent. The kicker tho was when I discovered that the pictures of the board that he sent me were copied from a year old selling thread of a Total Carnage board on the Arcade-Projects forum. I notified that AP seller (who is also a member here) and he posted a warning on this guy's Smash TV selling thread before that thread got deleted.

I feel really badly that I didn't post a warning myself but I wasn't totally sure it was a scam given his posting activity on these forums over several months. This seems to have been a really elaborate con.

I am the member he is referring to if anyone needs proof.

Thanks, I have been out of the hobby for a few years. I guess I missed a LOT. Absolutely shocking. Jaime was so huge in the Nintendo community. Crazy to see it go this way.

I just banned the account. Fucker is in Nigeria. The account owners email was probably Comprimised and he stupidly used the same password everywhere. (assuming) That paypal address should have been a hard stop on that $200 payment BTW...just saying.

Also, "Intermediate users" which there seems to be 6300+, have the permission to delete their own thread in the for sale section. I suspect this will be changed soon. Also, the crook adjusted the accounts permissions to only allow "friends" to see their profile which is why the restricted alert was shown.

3 other accounts also used the same IP in Nigeria and are now banned:

deaniatley
Stancade

They used a VPN and connectedf rom all over the place and from cell phones too.
