Hi everyone!
I just got an original pacman, it decent condition. However, there are some things about it I just wanted to verify. I suspect that this machine has had some restoration work, but am not sure.
First, where the plastic handles on the top back would be, there is wire mesh covering the holes as well as down below. No plastic inserts. Did any of the original machines have this, or were they removed?
Did pacman machines have coin door lights? This one does not seem to have any, but no original machine I have seen seems to have them. If so, is there a part # for the socket to get a replacement?
The T-molding is just starting to turn yellow along the edges by the wood. I suspect this will give me a clue as too how long ago this suspected restoration took place. Any thoughts?
Last question- No blue speckles in the paint. Was it repainted, or did any original cabs lack this?
The original pcb was removed, so no serial #. The original wiring/power section is still there, (as well as additional jamma wiring, not done by me with a new pcb.) so tracking down some of the answers by serial # will be difficult I think.
Anyway, thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
