Based on condition what would I be expecting to pay for one?

I have a weird thing about Ms. Pac-man, I prefer P(lay)ing sitting down.

That is the cheapy KLOV guy price. It can take a LONG time to find a good deal on a Ms. Pac though as it is the easiest game in the world to sell.

I have collected on and off since 2000. Gone through a couple hundred games in that time. I try to not pay more than $100 for a game and almost never pay more than $200. (Because if you are patient enough everything pops up eventually). It took me 12 years to finally get a Ms. Pac-Man.

$250-400, depending on condition.

I'm having trouble finding one for under $1k

It HAS to be a regional thing. Up here in the Midwest, if you unload $1,000.00 on a Ms Pac cocktail, you can get something really nice.

The hardest part is finding something that hasn't been hacked up or turned into a multi.

The cocktails just don't garner as much as the uprights do. Upright? Sure, upwards of $1000 or more depending on condition. But the cocktails are lower.

Here's a very nice one

Here's a decent one asking $550

No price, but worth a call

Want one fast? You'll pay. If you poke around and ask around, you can get a deal. Especially if you you're willing to do the repair work yourself.

Thanks for the examples. Good call on the regional deal. Texas seems to be way overpriced. Missouri seems to be arcade deal heaven.

Really California is, sky high property values and lack of basements keep game prices low there.

It really depends on the game. You can't throw a (virtual) quarter on the So CA CL without hitting an Asteroids or Missile Command. There are a lot of Pacs / Ms. Pacs and DKs, but since those are the quintessential classics, they're always moderately high (usually starting at $500+ even thrashed/non-working). I don't know what they eventually get for them, but that's up there. I checked out a non-working Pac cocktail listed @ $400 and poked around. I saw the fuses were toast and told the guy I was going to bo buy some around the corner. He told me if I took it then, I could have it for $300, so I did. Turned out to more than fuses, but eventually got it running fine. Based on the prices I've seen locally since then, I got a steal.

I just bought this one a few days ago for $460. I thought it was a pretty fair price since it's in good condition and working.
