In the restoration forum I have a thread on my Berzerk Restoration. During the stenciling process, I noted that there was an oversight in the cutting. They either forgot, or decided against, cutting the front robot's right blue horn out of the mask. prOk, staying true to the original, doesn't cut it out either. I was gonna leave it as is, but first I wanted to check, did they ever correct this defect? Did later production runs have the missing horn stenciled in? What would you do? Leave it as is or add the missing horn?

Personally, I would burn the game to the ground, but if I were you I would fix it.

Just because you have tatoos and call your friends bitches does not make you a heartless toughie. You would not burn it down and you know it. Take it back and show these folks your softer side, Pauly.

Mine is the same and I would never have noticed that either. If I ever do restencil it, I will keep it the same. I guess the good thing about putting the missing horn in is you would always know if that was your machine unless of course other people know about it. :)

I'd say add it in. It bugs the hell out of me now that you pointed it out.

I did a quick search in Google images, and everyone I saw is missing it. Rich even left it out of the t-shirt he made:

Also, why is the robot in the front smaller? In perspective drawing, shouldn't the closer one be overlapped AND larger? I mean they are all identical in size in the game, so why would there be 2 different sized robots on the artwork, which having a smaller one in front of a larger one would have to imply? Another fvck up perhaps?

It was the early 80's...ever see the movie zanadu?

I have two Berzerk cabs here and neither one has the ear. I think the smaller robot was just "special" and shouldnt be picked on or made to feel different.

At first it bothered me, but then I just convinced myself that he got it blown off in battle. That made me feel much better...:D

I'm with Shardian, I think he was damaged in battle. As for being smaller, well the one behind him is like a commander, and the smaller is just a battle drone.

If it bothers you, fix it. It wouldn't be hard at all. I'm sure you have left over blue paint right? Just get some good masking tape, tape an outline, paint. You'd have it fixed in 20 minutes.

If you are going to add in the horn, make sure you don't mess up. It could ended up looking a lot worse quite easily.
