Hold on to it. You can start a kickstarter for an arcade/pizza place. Call it something super cool like Tech Noir to really tap into that hipster market.

Sorry! I forgot I posted this!

Sorry all! I forgot I even posted this! A lot has happened in my life (health wise and other stuff...I know it's not an excuse, but it happened) and I totally forgot I even posted this.
I didn't want to get rid of it, and it has been in my living room ever since. My local record store (yes, vinyl!) made me an offer of $500 last week but I still am not sure of it's value. I know it's only worth what someone will pay for it, but the old Gremlin Frogs games don't come up for sale often! I like the game since it's has an early jumping character and is kind of like an early platform game as well. ANYWAY, it is STILL in great shape and hopefully I can attach photos now. I was also looking for a Gorgar pinball or another stand-up, but cash is king right now. Sorry again for disappearing like that.

I will write some info as per the "Rules" post:

Machine is located in Savannah, GA.
I can do Paypal but other options can be discussed.
I will help load it onto whatever would be coming to get it and try my best to prepare it for shipping/pickup (I can follow instructions really well, but I can not lift much due to my illness).
Pictures SHOULD be attached now. Maybe I made them to small now because they wouldn't upload the first try...
Thanks and the two tadpoles and net offer was actually pretty good :)

P.S...

I've gotten some fair share of messages and I have been answering...stay tuned and sorry for the disappearing act once again! :)

Update....

So the machine has been sold locally to a friend that owns a shop here. It seems there were a couple of people on here upset when I messaged them all back and said that I was working out a deal locally and I JUST completed the deal today (and that I would update the post here on KLOV). Well, just to let curious people know, I was offered double the amount of any offers on here AND it was a local sale. He is going to put it on eBay. Thanks again and thank you very much to the people that wrote me and gave me insight on it's value and history! That's what makes this site great! Information sharing! :) Thanks again all...now...should I delete the original post or what??

1. you can't delete the post. ever. it's remains intact on this forum indefinitely.

2. so you sold it for $1,500? $2,000? nice.

3. Thanks for keeping us updated!

Update...

I got a grand for it from my local shop, he is going to post it. I was happy because it covered a medical bill and I did NOT want to sell my Judge Dredd pinball! (I wasn't anyway...I would have sold some guitars or something...lol) He came and looked at it at my house and took pictures...it's still here at my house, but it's officially his now...

Forgive me if I speak my mind here.

Ok, so let me see if I follow this correctly.
Originally a local shop owner offered $500.
Sought out a bunch of offers from KLOW members.
Wound p receiving a bunch of offers from KLOV members via PM under the guise they would potently have an opportunity to purchase said game.
Goes radio silent multiple time intermittently throughout the time period of which said game is reportedly for sale (probably pitting offers against each other).
In the end, sells it to a local shop owner for $1000 (double the original shop owners offer).
Am I wrong to assume its the same shop owner? Or is Savannah Georgia a collectors Mecca for shop owners who want an esoteric arcade game such as Frogs?
Did I miss something here?

So he basically solicited a bunch of peoples offers to jack up the price up on "his friend" the shop owner. In my industry we have a term for that, its called "whoring your material".
Dude, next time just put the price on it that you want in the first place instead of jerking people off.........
I wasn't even interested in this game, but this was a train wreck to watch.

BTW this has nothing to do with the price of the game just how it was sold.

Anyhow, glad hear you raised some money to take care of your car troubles.
Seems like it could have been a little easier, but what the hell do I know.
Hope it all worked out for you.
Be well.
Kent

Hmmmm, ups quote on ebay to ship to me from Georgia to arizona is $300 for this? Sounds way insanely low to me lol considering I was getting quotes from a couple states away for 900 ish for a standard upright

ALIENS, ALIENS EXTERMINATION, ALIEN VS PREDATOR, ASTEROIDS DELUXE, AFTERBURNER 2, KARATE CHAMP VS, KARATE CHAMP TOURNAMENT SINGLE, OPERATION WOLF, ROADBLASTERS, TAITO SPACE GUN, STAR WARS TRILOGY, ATARI STAR WARS COCKPIT, TRON

Welp, well done on your sale...guess until someone posts they offered asking price($500) instead of low-balling you, you did alright. Congrats on the sale, gotta do what you gotta do.

I call total bullshit on this entire thread.
The pictures of this game on eBay are pictures of the game in this dudes house next to the Judge Dread pinball that he "thankfully didn't have to sell".
Your telling me that he sold this to a pawnshop for $1000 and they are listing it on eBay using his photos of the game in his house. The guy works at a pawnshop, just look at his profile (unless he changes it). Your telling me he works at a pawnshop and sold it to another pawnshop so that the other pawn shop could sell it on eBay. Give me a fucking break.
All he did was probe for information so he knew what to set a reserve on it when they sell it on eBay.

I agree 100%. Calling this guy out. Nothing wrong with probing and asking what it would sell for....shit, there's a whole thread for that. But lying and misleading people who wanted to buy it with no intention of selling it to them just to get a price is utter crap. Not a good way to start you very first thread post dude, people are gonna remember this on here as there is a section regarding your rep that can be seen. Should've just come clean and asked what it sells for, not shady behind the curtains crap.

If that's true that's pretty shitty behavior.

if pawnshop payed $1k for that machine it would have to be worth double or triple the amount that they paid making it a B&W game worth 2K - 3K

is this even possible?
