Ok so I did this once before. And only one person took me up on it. I'm ordering from Time harvest between now and Monday. If you want to get in on the order here's the deal, part cost (real cost including shipping to me) then add paypal fee and 20 per order per order, plus shipping to you. I know this sounds complicated but you can save a bit. All parts will take 3-5 days to me, then 1-3 days to ship priority to you. Email me for Time Harvest Price sheets. So what does this mean?
Example:
Blue Elf 2 109
4 quincunx locks .9 each
1 jamma harness 4
2 Sanwa style joysticks 2.50 each
I will calculated shipping costs based on relative prices in the order so for these the cost would be about 25, plus my fee about 25, Shipping to you (large flat rate priority box) 14.50
you get about 20% off list.

I am only asking 20 per order for my time and trouble, things worked well last time, but only one person took me up on it. I am ordering before Monday so let me know if you want anything [email protected].

Here are some items and costs
108 in 1 $41
18 in 1 capcom 120
Buttons .2
1P/2P buttons .24
Zippy Micro 75g force .3
...
Look for times at www.timeharvest.net and send me a list or request a price sheet.

They do but the pricing is tight, I get mine from Avid because it's more convenient and I would only save 5 or 10 bucks a board.... The cost for a 60 in 1 is 78 bucks, once you add in shipping etc..... if someone wanted 20 or so of them, hit me up, I can probably get a bit of a bulk discount and save a few more dollars. I am happy to look into whatever people would like... Oh and I haven't seen the 19 in 1's.

..but how much is shipping if a 60/1 is included in a large order - $10 at most? that still is a good deal for $88 (approx).. plus for the $20 repacking fee, adding one more item shouldnt cut into your profit.

I went in on the last order (surprised I was the only one) and can say that everything went very smoothly. Shipping was super fast once Armi placed the order and he got everything to me super quick and at a great price.

Armi how did those joysticks turn out compared to the actual Sanwas?

Just curious... what could you get the 14-in-1 Capcom CPS1 multigame for total shipped to me?

Not sure if I'll pull the trigger...just wondering.

I was thinking about the MGCD setups, but it's hard to be sold on them when the sales rep is using engrish. Anyone have any info about the Wii/Mario Kart MGCD? I'd love to use that in my Indy 500's and have a few linked up running off one MGCD unit, if that is possible.

Here's a few price lists.

Wow, some of that pricing blows my mind. Switcher, $7! 19" chinese monitor, $26!

That's the chassis only of course... but now you know how YATON and what not make a profit....

The key is to buy in bulk... because for individual item purchases it's not really worth it after shipping, currency conversion fees, etc...

I wonder about the quality of these parts coming from China. I think it's pretty common knowledge that China is famous for cheap knock off items, and poor quality parts.

I can get good prices on parts from US & even Japan without paying somebody $20 per order. Just a thought...

may

When you find a US or Japanese made multigame board... you let us know.

... when you find a source for a US made or Japanese made arcade monitor chassis, make sure you post your findings.

I am at work and swamped on Trauma, when I can break free for a little while I will post a little more, but I bought a variety of items and I can tell you my thoughts.

In regards to the 60 in 1, it just come so close to 95 which is what the other guys sell it for shipped, so it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

A lot of the items are exactly the same as the ones retailers are selling here for 3-4 x the cost. Only AVID and NIXs actually bring the prices down to close to what makes sense.

Bulk does help, Time Harvest isn't the cheapest parts, but the fees are less because they can paypal. I ordered 1700 in stuff before and got about 3000 in parts. Please email me at my email address [email protected], it's just easier for me to work from there with attachements, especially during the days.

Not to be rude guys, but seriously I'm only charging 20 to do a bit of leg work. You need to work with me to make this very easy. I can't be going back and forth with KLOV email. Please email me at [email protected], I will send the lists to you, if you want to order I will send an excel sheet for you to fill out and return. Just think of how much work you would want to do for 20 dollars and putting yourself out there on an order like this. I am happy to do this and hope this will help some people out, but please please be understanding that I am a resident working 80 hours a week with a crazy ass hobby lol, less stress is better.

Now let the ordering begin!!!

BTW the sanwa like joysticks are not worth the 30 a sanwa will fetch but they are worth at least 10, and probably more like 15-25, which is 2-5 times what they cost

I think $20 is very reasonable for all the leg work you're doing.
I've already reached my "play fund" for the month but will definately be getting some stuff on you're next order.

Ok, I have a few minutes to breath before i go evaluate ear wax, why is the trauma service evaluating ear wax? Anyhow here are some thoughts:
1) Easiest and most expeditious way for me to ship is by priority USPS, as I am in Hawaii, standard boxes are very nice, and way cheaper than using UPS or Fed Ex. So figure that in on the shipping price. My experience with many US suppliers is that they just ship what ever is easiest and I generally feel like I get screwed on shipping costs, so I try to avoid that.
2) Buttons are nice, things like blue elf's, 465 in 1's, and capcom 14 or 18 in 1's end up better priced than any other source I have found. The power supplies are very similar to some sold by US retailers, read what you want into that. The joysticks are not bad except the spanish joystick is crap, the knock off Sanwas are actually pretty nice, but only 8 way. computer comparator coin selectors for $9, Zippy microswitches for .3 a piece.

Honestly I am charging 20 for my time and I also don't want a lot of "I'll take two buttons", but if you buy a blue elf 2 board at 115, 12 normal buttons, a 1p/2p button pair, and 14 micros, this becomes worth the money, add in two joysticks and you're good to go.

I will tell people, as they order if something on there list is something I've gotten and didn't like...and just for peoples information, I ordered 8 different joys and 6 different buttons last time to look at quality. But please don't ask over and over, I don't want to waste time unless people are serious abour ordering. I have enough that ordering from China is benificial to me, I'm just trying to share with others.

Alexcc: thank you

Sackashiet: Yes there are some parts that are cheap and some that are just junk, I have bought a bunch of stuff to eval quality and I will try to help stear people clear of bad deals. RL113k commented how the micros weren't very good the last time I ordered, so I found higher quality micros this time. Zippy 75g force micros for .30 a pop... Also there are many pieces I got that are IDENTICAL to items I have paid 3-4 times as much for from US retailers. For me, I calculated, conservatively the value of what I was getting, and I saved about 40-50%.

teckkev: Yes it blows, click on products at the top, then click on the words for each thing and you can scroll through, there is no product description.

Frizz: My friend, I wish... I don't know many people that are still producing here. Seems like it's all high quality China or cheap quality China. There are some Japanese parts that are not knock off's but it doesn't make sense to buy them here, I mean they are just as much a middle man as lizardlick or someone like that.

I am not sure, but I'm getting 4, 2x14 and 2x25 just to play....

Here is a sample order and costs, this is the price each per part if you ordered all these parts not including shipping to you, total cost here would be 637 plus shipping to you. (the 20 I'm charging and fees for order from time harvest are spread into these costs per part)
