Any other options for backglass that's not BGresto? I'm not going to give someone my money that has a long track record of being a flake and not communicating with customers. I don't care how good the work is I'm not going to be left in limbo indefinitely.

So who else is there? I have a Gottlieb Bronco that if I breath on the back glass wrong 90% of the art will fly off.

I saw a company that had some restoration backglasses that wasn't BGRESTO. However, they didn't have mine.

Try searching for what you want in your favorite search engine.

By the way, the backglass I got for my Chicago Coin Super Score from BGRESTO brought tears to the former owners eyes. It takes a while but the quality is outstanding.

Thanks George. I can't find my backglass anywhere online that's why I'm reaching out here. Tried pinside as well and got a couple recommendations but they couldn't help me. Maybe BGresto was better back in the day. But I was reading a current thread on pinside where several people were saying how once they paid they basically never heard from him again, one guy said he was told his order was going to be shipped next week which was now 8 weeks ago. I understand being back logged and swamped but in this day and age lack of communication is unnecessary in my opinion. I will leave my flaking and peeling BG in the machine before I support a business that operates that way.

Shay Backglass is another option but that guy is a prick.
And I just checked and they don't have Bronco.

That was the one I looked at for my CC Super Score.

Options are limited. I think BGRESTO scans the entire backglass, and then matches colors and builds a Photoshop replica of the backglass with as close to the original colors as possible.

Then he prints it onto a plastic substrate, and shrinks it onto glass. It's a very slick product, but depending on what you have to start with, the Photoshop work can be pretty intensive.

My suggestion:
Reach out to BGRESTO. Send him a picture of your existing backglass. Be warned: He will want you to put tape over your existing backglass back to keep the paint from flaking so he can scan it, and if you don't, he will. Ask him what his expected timeline is. Mine was in months, but I had the time, so it was no problem.

When he's done he sends the original and new in a double-packed box. All my stuff arrived intact.

Otherwise, look around the usual suspects - maybe someone has a hulk with a good backglass?

Or you could see if this one is still for sale here. Its for a 2 player version.

BGRESTO already did a 4 player version, so if he still has the files and yours is 4 player, it may be a quicker turnaround.

Thanks. That's for a Chicago coins. Mine is Gottlieb.

For what its worth:

I recently received two back glasses from Bgresto (Gulfstream and Stunt Pilot). Both communication and quality was top notch. It was not a quick turn around at around 4 months but there was never any doubt.

I have also had good dealings with Shay in the past. I plan on purchase from these two sources again without hesitation and would recommend them to other collectors. My feelings on anything reproduction is you better have patience. Especially if the item is not already in stock. Most items nowadays are made to order. Hence the long wait times.

I was fortunate to grab a few backglasses when BGresto was local to me. His work is fantastic, im happy to have them. I can't speak to the timeline issue or his process. These were glasses already made and on hand.

Earlier this year I was at Pinfest in Allentown, PA and someone I talked to mentioned that there was a guy in France who made EM reproductions that you need to apply yourself on your own glass. He mails them out in a poster tube. Then you use Rapid Tac to apply it and they look great.

I cannot remember the name of the guy who told me. He was a friend of a friend. I am in the process of getting a name so you can inquire.

Stay tuned.
