Not mine, just wanted peoples opinion of this.

AD-----------

"I upset some people with my bargain basement prices on my pinball machines. And they're right. You shouldn't be able to buy a nice pinball machine for the price of an arcade. So in an effort to fit in and for the good of all, here's a '72 Williams Super Star a tier above average with a price to match it's condition. Price is firm and next week it might be higher. You just can't change overnight."--------------------AD

Please charge me more! For the good of all!

That's idiotic. I don't know what that's about, but you should tell them that you are perfectly OK with being sold pinball machines for the price of arcade games. And you promise not to tell anybody!

If you have tried to sell a pinball on Craigslist lately you may reach the same point with your ads. I had one listed a few weeks back and it was about a 10 to 1 ratio of crackpot tire kicker replies vs people really interested.

I wouldn't call $450 for a super star bargin basement prices Maybe $100

To me, these "used car salesman" techniques just indicate that the guy is a sleezeball. I like ads that give a clear, accurate description, with some nice pictures, and a fair asking price. An indication of whether or not the asking price is flexible also helps.
