a route vender has one ive been thinking about picking up. i have not played it but it looks like a fun pin.

I liked it, I regret getting rid of it to this day. It was fun, I got bored of it because it was all I had and I played it like everyday, Its the same as terminator 2 pretty much, has some cool features.

I had one for a short period of time. For the price they usually sell for, I don't think it is too bad of a pin. I wouldn't have minded keeping it around a little longer to get some more time on it. Just don't overpay for it because you probably won't get a lot for it and it may be hard to move. And make sure you have the latest ROMS otherwise the Joe Pesci stuff gets annoying. And the latest ROMs let you chose the background music.

I've had mine for a couple of months, and love it. It even convinced another collector to seek one out for his collection. It comes down to what you like, it's a fluent pin, you always have something going on that you have to do while playing it. Like mentioned, for the usual price of them, they're good pins.

Dollar to fun ratio I think is what this pin exceeds at. But it does get old very quick. As a single machine or even as a second pin, I feel the longevity factor isn't there. And I also second the motion for watching what you spend. These things aren't in high demand making a hard sale for you down the road.

the op is asking $1,400. he has done a complete shop job, disassembled playfield cleaned and or replaced parts etc.

$800-$1000 is a common price range for this title. If it is clean and plug and play I sure wouldn't go any more than $1200 personally because you'll be lucky to get that back out of it. I always preach these are not investments but if a person watches their purchase price close enough, you can buy a pin and play the snot out of it and as long as you maintain the pf you can get your money back out of it or come VERY close to it anyway.

that sounds like good advise,I'm looking for the most bang for my buck.
and im not in a real hurry to buy so i dont have to jump on the first pin that comes along. thanks to all for your input.

I'd pass at $1400 unless it was in very nice shape and something you wanted to keep. In the last couple of months I've seen one for sale here on KLOV and one on RGP that were both very nice. IIRC they both were selling for $950. The one on RGP looked darn near perfect. They pop up fairly often in the $800-1100 range. For around $1000 and in decent shape, it is a good pin if you have no problem with Mel Gibson's mug on the backglass. :D

The one from here(KLOV), came home to me, thanks to Geese. He did an amazing job of making sure it was a clean pin he sold.

$1,400 is high for that pin I think, it would need to be immaculant and signed by the cast for that price, lol. It's worth a $1,000 hands down, anything beyond that better be free delivery and set up :)
