Opinions on a trade Toobin for NHL open ice hockey 4 player

Selling my Toobin and just got an e-mail asking if I would be interested in a trade for a NHL open ice hockey 4 player. I would prefer to sell but if the right game came along I might trade it. It has been awhile since I have played it, being from canada I love hockey just thought I would ask for some opinions on a trade.

me personally id rather keep the toobin but that is me.

IF its something you really want, why not? Even if its a "bad trade" where you "lose" it really doesent matter because if you gain a game you will play more often, why not?

Being Canadian myself i would agree the NHL is a good deal. Meaning down the road if you wanted a taker for it you would have a better chance of off loading it because it is a hockey arcade game. Having said that i would say Toobin is a classic but it may be hard to sell down the road, more so than the NHL arcade game.

Toobins are not worth that much (like $150-300) because it is NOT...
a wanted game by most
a desirable game by most
and a extremely fun/exciting game

and from what I have seen 4 player games are almost always very expensive(probably because they are newish)

I think it is a good deal. Also you can find another toobin for fairly cheap as they do not sell well because not a lot of people want them...so they will be on he market for a long time and they could get cheaper.

Open Ice is one awesome game. I mean, Pat Foley does the play-by-play. And you can't go wrong with Eddie...

I'd make that trade in a heartbeat. I've never really cared for Toobin', but I love hockey and Open Ice is a fun game.

I would rather have the Open Ice over the Toobin' as well. I loved playing Open Ice on my Playstation and once I got into buying JAMMA pcb's, I got myself a PCB. If it's the dedicated cab that would be even better....has pretty cool artwork IMHO.

if it's a dedicated cab it's definitely a rare bird. i'd trade also pending condition of the NHL 2o2

if dediated open ice, then 100%. If a kit, then maybe.

I disagree with someones assement of toobin being a $150-$300. I think I have sold 4 of them over the years for $450-$650 and they all went no problem.

If the waterfall is working(and quiet), the monitor is bright and sharp, and the aligator art (along with the rest of the game art) is good, your toobin is worth $400+. I think the medium rez monitor alone is worth $200+. I put one of those k7000 black tubes in my paperboy, and it looks fantastic.

As for open ice, I think a kit 4 player is worth $300-$400. A dedicated probably worth $400-$600+. I think toobin is an easier sell, but you being up in hockeyland, its probably the other way around.

When you add that open ice is 4 player 3 button jamma cab, making it quite useful to play stuff like nba jam, blitz, simpsons, ect, I would make the trade.

Another for the plus column of Open Ice is that I'm a hidden player in the game so you know it's totally worth it alone just so you can play as me!
