I have a WWF wrestle mania with a 27" Vision Pro VGA Monitor I am using as a MAME machine. Well im getting board with the MAME and am thinking of installing an 60-n-1.
How would it look on that large of a monitor or should I leave it as a MAME.

They look OK on the larger monitor. It's comparable to the Ms Pac Galaga reunion games. It looks slightly more pixilated but not bad.

cant you just play all 60 of those games on mame already? how would this not be a downgrade?

The 60-in-1 boards tend to come off a lot slicker than a PC running MAME will. They tend to power up quicker and they won't show a 'Windows' loading screen, etc, etc. Basically they end up looking a lot slicker without the effort needed to force a PC to boot nicely.

I say keep it mame and run the hyperspin frontend.

Thats what I have now. its all good and all just seems never ending. Every time I look I see something I want to change. If I made ti a 60 n 1 I could not change any thing.

But the one thing I forgot no MAME =no MISFITMAME =No D2K

Yep Thats kind of how I feel

the 60 in 1 is a vertical board. unless you want to turn your head sideways to play, it would need to be rotated.

Hmm I did not know that. Well thats that no 60 n 1 for now. Thanks for the input to all

If you already have Mame, I'd probably stick with that. But if you are hell bent on changing it up, maybe check into another multi board. 60-in1's are out as those are for vertical monitors, but the XXXX-in-1's are set up for horizonal monitors. And you get most, if not all, of the games from the 60-in-1's. If you decide to go for another multi, I'd say go for broke and get the 1940-in-1 or wait until the next release comes out with even more games. I've got a 1940 multi and have been pretty happy with it. Some games don't have that "true" classic feel, but with what you're already using, I don't think it would bother you. The only way to get that classic feel, is to own the original. If that's not an option, give a little to gain a lot I suppose.

The vertical games are strechted out a little, but it doesn't look bad, just looks bigger. And you'd have the options of having all of the Street Fighters, Mortal Kombats, Nintendo Vs. games, ect, ect.... to go along with the classics.
