I'd probably go pick it up, then smash it into a million little pieces in the street in front of his house, just to show him it wasn't the cab that was important, but the principle.
Then, if I was feeling really bitchy, I'd put all the pieces in a box, address it to myself, but his address as the return address, mail it to myself, then refuse to accept it, and have them return to "sender"....
my god the thought crossed my mind but you are correct on this entire situation its the principal in the long run. i think a person should be held responsible once they take possession of said goods.

OMG this has gotten outta hand! I never said I wasn't gonna pay for the game, just didn't have the money at the moment. I gave taylor the option to take the game back and that upset him, I'm sorry it happened, I say him in person before this got out of control and didn't even no he was upset about it other than he was cold to me, I never did any other deals it was all talk and I got accused of doing deals that never happened, I don't know what else to say to everyone including talylor! I just closed the thread... it looks like it was going no where good. Third party comments were beginning to get harsher and harsher and I don't think are helpful to either of you.
Obviously the two parties see things a little different from each other. Both feel bummed at the other (and not just because of the deal itself), and both are unhappy that not everyone sees things their way.
It looks that besides PM/email, that this was kind of continuation from another thread (which I didn't read, and have no interest to).
I, like everyone else, could post my opinion as to who is 'more' right (if I thought either one is) but that wouldn't be helpful and I think my role as sponsor of these forums sorts of limits (self-imposed) my freedom of speech sometimes. My advice in the situation would also be moot as it looks like a solution of sorts has already been worked out.
The deal sounded risky from the start due to a lack of some specifics and hopefully is a learning lesson to all involved. I've been in the same types of deals before with the same types of outcomes.
I'm not sure what to do with the thread, though I'm tempted to simply make it disappear. It really doesn't add value to this section and will probably soon be explicitly banned in this section.. If anyone feels strongly about it (especially the principals in the deal) pm me.
You can leave negative iTrader ratings for each other and gripe in a Neg Feedback Forum if it comes up, but you both are probably better off not going down that road (even if one of you is 'more right' in this far from perfectly executed deal).
