Nope ....... I loves me some Judge Judy.
If there was no "meeting of the minds" as to when the money would be paid the there is no enforceable contract. She would talk about getting things in writing, call them both stupid the try to get Joe to agree to a payment date. If he said he didn't want it anymore she would tell Taylor he has 5 days to pick up the game.

Not a lawyer just watch a lot of Judge Judy. :)

Except that he has an email from Joe stating he knew payment was expected at some point. That mean that an oral contract was made. There might be some problem with the amount that needs to be paid, but not that Joe owes Taylor....

Patience

Use patience young Pattawan! You dont want the game. Or just go get it and be done with it and know not to do business with this person again.

I disagree with most who have posted so far...

Personally I would tell him to keep the game and never talk to me again.

I would tell him to turn the game into a bad ass soap box racer and race it back over to my house where I would challenge him to a soldering iron duel with a slap to the face using a joust rom board by holding the ribbon cable end. SMACK!!!!!:001_ssuprised::eek:

Why should he get a free game out of all this ? If he doesn't want to pay , theres no way he should get to keep the game .

Because it's not worth the hassle.

If he grows a conscience I'm sure he know's the guy's paypal address. Until then chalk it up to experience and move on.

Just my opinion. I seriously can't be bothered with this kind of bullshit. I wouldn't have let it leave my garage unless I was prepared to never get paid.

Typical Canadian hostile response.

Then you would probably say something like, "I'm not your friend, guy."
and he would say "I'm not your guy, pal." if he were Canadian too.

The problem is not everyone agrees "some point" equals the same amount of days.

another collector saw this and is picking it up and i told him he could have the damn thing im sick of dealing with people like this. i got the game out for 2 reasons im clearing out games i dont like and that is one of them, and i needed the money

enjoyed listining to your responces and be insulted by people for wanting to collect my money was really cool too i wonder how those people would feel in the same situation i dont think people think of that at all but whatever.
thanks late-

I'd probably go pick it up, then smash it into a million little pieces in the street in front of his house, just to show him it wasn't the cab that was important, but the principle.

Then, if I was feeling really bitchy, I'd put all the pieces in a box, address it to myself, but his address as the return address, mail it to myself, then refuse to accept it, and have them return to "sender"....

:D

Or - if I was really pissed, destroy it in private, then do the mail thing, then call the cops, show them the box and the emails, then press charges for destroying your property.

Nah, that's going too far, and it would could backfire in the form of 'false accusation' charges...
