So my wife is pressureing(spell check)me to buy a game,I can get a dig dug,pac man or a zombie raid cab. Im not real excited about any but to make her happy Im gonna have to pick something before christmas. Ive narrowed it down to these 3,I really think the zombie game is pulling ahead at this point.

opinion's? resale value?

there all in o.k. descent shape.

If your wife is wanting you to buy a game, it doesn't matter what game to buy, just buy one.

Simply having a wife who doesn't oppose buying a game is good enough to let her get whatever she likes!

Plus, you can't lose with Pac-Man.

Zombie Raid is cool if you're into shooters but for $500 the Pac and Dig Dug would be a great deal. why not get two games instead of one?

Well it kinda does matter,Im very limited on space. But yeah pac is a crowd favorite but its off and on for me.

I was negotiating intoxicated via email,I dont have room for 2 games, I could get the ZR for much less btw. The ZR would look cool next to my op-wolf.

first ask the wife which she would like best then go from there.

Personally I want a pac man but I want it because it's iconic in name and sounds. For me the game play gets old very quick so I might stay away from that unless you are sure the other people who would be playing it will really give it regular play. I personally lean toward a classic over a newer game so of the three I'd probably get dig dug but to be fair shooters are generally fun for most and a good addition to a game room if you don't already have one. I guess my main issue with shooters is that they usually have an end and therefore are a bit limited in replay value IMO.

While ZR is cool as with most shooting games once you have finished them there is virtually no replay value. I would personally go with the Dig Dug, though you can pick up the Pac install a 60-1 then sell it for a nice profit once you get tired of it.

She doesnt play at all, shooters do have end's but have you got to the end of op wolf? It's a bitch that ive only accomplished once.

Never beat Op wolf and I love a couple of the exidy shooters but there is a certain era which I believe zombie raid falls into along with other games like area 51 and such where the games are fun but by adding a few more credits along the way most people can beat them. Maybe a setting can be changed to increase difficulty or limit continues to keep the game challenging enough to not lose it's appeal.

are 60-in-1's plug and play? ive never done it,how much are they and where do you get'em?

The 60-1's are plug and play in a Jamma cab setup. You can usually find there here in the for sale section for $75-$105 depending on which version you buy and whether it's new or used.

60-1's

Not sure if it's still available but there used to be an adapter that plugged to a pac harness and converted the pin out and I believe something power related to a plug and play jamma pin out. Seem to recall this adapter being a bit pricey though.

Found one. Not too bad I suppose
