Well, i've come to the realization that it's going to be years before i have anywhere to keep my games where i can actually enjoy them. I have nowhere to put even a single game. Currently, i have about 5 in my workshop, a 12X16 barn beside the house that is full to the door. I also have 10X10 and 10X20 storage units competely full. I am keeping a few, and putting them in the barn:

Pacman
Foodfight
Crazy Climber
Starblade
missile command
Babypacman

The rest i need to sell. 95% of what i need to sell, the cabinets are trashed. I bought them that way, since i can always make a new one, or bought it with the intention of copying the cabinet, then replacing it. I need to figure out what to do.. Here's my options:

1. make a new cabinet, transfer over all the parts, and restore everything else. Rebuilt electronics, all metal refinished, new overlays/art/cpo's etc.

2. Make a new cabinet, and include the old cabinet, with it working. let the buyer finish off the restoration end, and transfer parts.

3. make a new cabinet, install new art and T-molding, and then include the original game working for the buyer to transfer.

4. make a new cabinet, strip the old game, and just send all the parts in a box.

I have a few games, i'm going to restore all the way..

1. Major havoc dedicated
2. Quantum
3. Quantum
4. Lunar lander
5. Gauntlet
6. Gauntlet 2
7. warlords cocktail

Other games off the top of my head, that can go any of the above mentioned options..

Stargate
Stargate mini
Defender
Robotron
joust
Death race
asteroids
asteroids
asteroids deluxe
black widow
tempest
centipede
centipede cabaret
tron
elevator action
Mario widebody
Bagman

I'm sure there's a couple more, that's what i can think of off the top of my head. The easiest way is just make a new cabinet, and send the old one working. Some of these, the cab is gone, parts are in a box already, a few the cabs will get broken down and copied. I need the space, i need the money, i need to get rid of the storage units, and i need my sanity back.

let me know what you think. I'd like to concentrate on this starting in Feb....

900 pounds of monstrosity. It's in my barn right now. it will not fit in the house in any way. I plan on stripping it, copying it, and reassembling it in the house at some point. It will be a bolt together game with brackets in it's new life, so i can always get it in/out if need be.

Maybe you should leave it open just like that? Some people here insist on having the original cab no matter what condition it's in and others like myself would choose to replace the cab if it's trashed to the point it's falling apart.

i have maybe 3 games that the cab is savable. the others are all water damaged and beat to hell.

Why not let the buyers decide? Make it a minimum that you sell a new cabinet
With it since that's what you do. Offer 4 prices for each game depending on the
Work involved and cost.

probably not a bad idea.. i've gotten several Pm's already, for 7 or 8 different machines. Once i'm through the backlog and a few cabs here people have dropped off, i'm going to concentrate on moving machines.

I still have the journey cab project in the works, and i have 15 cabinets here i have not copied yet. I may consider doing new cabs in runs, like a preorder for repro parts.

I'd be down for one of the quantums, new cab, fully working, restored. Lmk when you are ready to make deals.

I've had one person ask for a quantum, but i'm doing two. i've bought every repro part i could buy, and my boards are being built now. 4500.00 is what i'm asking for them.
