Would it it unreasonable to ask $800 for this original condition Ms. Pac? (This image is pre-cleanup though...so keep that in mind)...

EDIT: Oh... and I could bring it to CAX for someone (there's certainly value in that, eh?)

WTF do you have to be in Idaho. Also, I would not pay 800 for it, but would have no issue paying 600. The pinks are faded, but real nice for original. The 600 price is a big deal for me having never paid more than 450 for a video game.

with a JR Pac CPO? yeah, probably. if the monitor is really sweet and you have a multi-Pac in there it would definitely help the price (as would the right CPO.)

nicer Ms. Pacs uprights seem to be selling in the $500-$700 range in the Seattle area right now and our prices have always run a bit higher than most of the rest of the country. California prices are below the national average so taking it to CAX may not get you the best price.

I'd say a few hundo in so cal, the market is depressed for games. It might be different elsewhere.

I think the best thing right now is to hold on to your games if you can't get your price, and you don't need the money.

Probably closer to $600 with the right CPO and the black above the monitor touched up. Looks pretty nice, though.

Ms. Pac

These are getting harder and harder to get the money out of since the multies took over. $550 is the best I have done on one in a couple of years. A friend in Chicago sold one on Ebay for $650 over the summer in similar condition as yours. There is hope.

Here in Michigan you are looking at $500 maybe $600 on a good day. It would need the right CPO. How's the monitors picture, PCB works, how complete and clean are the insides?

Best I'd go on that one would be $400 here. I just turned down an eBay counteroffer of $500 for one in similar condition, with correct CPO and rebuilt G07.

Keep this in perspective. Unreasonable to another collector in today's market? Yes. However, I'd throw it on Craigslist for average Joe for $800. Then let average Joe or a knowledgeable collector talk you down to $550 - $600 if they see fit.

Well, I asked because I can pick it up locally for $500 but I wasn't gunna bother if I couldn't pull at least $750+ out of it... it's about 45 minutes away... and being that I already have a Multi-Pac... I don't need it for my collection.

I popped off a few emails last night to the locals withe the $500 price... not worth the pickup for me.

Yeah, it's only worth that if you wanted it. There are (or were) bazillions of those in the wild...

very nice machine. I'd buy it for $500. My $50 ms pac is a bit beat and I just don't have the motivation to make it look nice like I should. That one is nice enough I'd just leave it as is and could be happy.

This was on CL for $700 or $800, and no one jumped on it. For $500 its not bad at all even though it probably needs a monitor rebuild and a little preventative maintenance.

For what it's worth, I couldn't get any interest in mine for $600 and it
Was in equal condition (had a new cpo, but faded marquee). I popped a multi board in there with an adapter and sold it for $700 within a few days.

What may be considered ironic is that if you slapped a multiboard in there, you could sell that cabinet for $750 within a few days, no sweat. You will have to work much harder to sell it as a real Ms Pac but eventually, you will get your price but you may have to sit on it a bit longer.

Bah... not worth the effort. If it were just around the corner I might have jumped...

...or if they'd come down to $350-$400...

...but that's about it.

Funny... back in the day this cab would have already been loaded up in the truck.
