Opinions: Gottlieb Genesis

I do feel extremely lucky, but would love to get repros made if possible. That way others can get on the bandwagon with this underappreciated game. (Also, when my NOS ramps break, which they will, I will need the repros then) :)
 
He seems to have a pretty good stash. I'm getting excited to see these ramps, have never seen any that weren't bashed at the bottom.

Congrats on the ramps, WF! I saw your post on RGP looking for these and glad somebody had a set for you, especially NOS!:eek:

I would definitely be in for a set for a backup! After playing some Genesis today; I noticed now why the entrance flaps are always cracked or broken. Seems if you don't hit the ramps shots head on the ball will rattle back and forth. After many games of this you see the end result....

Well that did not last long. I guess the honeymoon is over with your Genesis? :(

Hopefuilly if anyone takes you up on the offer, they will persue the NOS ramps reproduction.

I am having a very hard time getting anyone to call me back on the Repro ramps. I am doubting that anyone will take me up on the trade, its kind of a longshot. :) I really do want to get these repros made, but no one at pinballinc is calling me back. Does anyone have any other ideas?

That doesn't really surprise me. Unfortunately I don't think they're interested in doing a repro as this has come up several times in the past with no progress. Sourcing the right color plastic, having to make the molds from scratch and lots of other higher priority stuff in the queue seem like obvious reasons but damn it would be nice to see these made. Mine are not that bad but like everyone else I would love a set as a backup.

Have you tried contacting Steve Young from Pinball Resource? My offer to buy them still stands if you decide you want to part with the Genesis :)
 
Lindsey, you definatly have dibs if I decide to sell them. Genesis is going to live at my fathers for a while, so unless my longshot trade comes through, I will be holding onto Genesis, as I really do enjoy the game, its just that TZ is my grail...:)
