It would be really hard to find a Tommy in excellent condition for less than $2,000. I've been looking for a deal on one for more than six months. They just don't come up for sale very often, and when they do, they tend to be pricey.Isn't Tommy on the higher end of the $1K-$2K range?
Obviously, there are so many great pins to choose from given your budget. The first one that comes to mind is The Shadow. It's a fun game, has some cool toys, and you should be able to pick up one in great condition for $2,000.
Is the shadow as hard a pin as I have heard?
never played congo either.......god awful theme (like so many other pins), but i've heard really good things about the gameplay. i've never even seen one in person, but if i do, i'm gonna give it a shot.
It's a good one and yeah sometimes the pin does the movie justice! It's kinda rare; I believe it's a low production run pin. I've come across two in my travels and that's low!

Hey guys, come February I will have 2000 of completely disposable income(Thats a ton for me) So I am going to drop it on a pin. In your opinion what is the best pin to be had for under 2 grand?
I have always wanted a White water... This may be my chance. What kind of condition would you expect to find a whitewater in for less than 2000. (I dont want to get screwed)
Whitewater is not "definitely" a sub 2k game but it is frequently found for less than that. I've seen tons of them in the $1k-$2k range, depending on condition. But basically you'll be close to $2k for a nice one.
Fish Tales is more like a $1500 game.
