Opinion: Blue or Red t-molding on a Pole Position???

I usually am a stickler for restoration to original equipment... but I'm wondering how colored t-molding might look on a new pole position? I'm sure some folks have done this... just looking for opinions.

Thanks...

Sorry to resurrect an old thread...but I'm in the same boat, going to re-do the t-molding on my cab (it's only on there half-way with the leather textured black).

I have an upright and was inspired by phet's cockpit with the light blue. I ordered some samples from t-molding and none of the blues are a match to the side art.

I wasn't really wanting to do red, but bright red is a pretty good match. Was also considering white.

Would love to see some pictures if anyone has any. My gut tells me to just stick with black...but thought I might float this out there again.

I've done dark blue....came out very nice.

Thanks for the pics Nick. Your blue looks like a pretty close match to the side art...where did you order it from?
