Operation Wolf Image (solved)

What causes an Operation Wolf Image to have a shadow on items when the monitor image does not. The attached pictures show what I mean. They are not very good but I think that one can get the idea.

The first picture is what a player would see. Note the shadow on the words. The second picture is of the monitor. Note that the shadow is not there.

clean the tube face and mirror inside the cab, as well as focusing. Ill almost guarantee theres a ton of dust and krap on that mirror or on the tube face. Glass cleaner works just fine. also polish the bezel while your at it.

If your mirror is half-silvered, you get this result if the mirror is in backwards...

Thanks all for the encouragement. That cabinet is so large that I wanted to avoid moving it much more. I had it in the garage and got it all working. Then moved it into the house. That is when I noticed that the image was not correct. I could not believe that moving it would cause the mirror to turn over ;). But that was the problem!

I was probably so happy to get it working that I did not notice the mirror problem at first. Maybe I need to move it back out to the garage and see if it turns over again. NOT!
