Opening Day at Zap Arcade!

Might be a cool place but what a terrible website. Font is hard to read. Had to dig around just to figure out what it is and where it is. Those are things that should be spelled out on the HOME PAGE in an easy to read text.

Just my .02

Agree, the font is bad, all caps making it hard to read. Viewing it on my iPad right now and the photos and game list links didn't work..

But $5 a day sounds pretty cheap!!

I've been there, a few months ago. I was helping via email and phone and went out one day.

No, they are not great games but his heart is to give people, young people in particular, something to do. Jordan is sort of between a couple of metro areas (Minneapolis and Mankato) so there's not so many local alternatives. He's setting up rewards programs for good grades, etc. Very cool plans actually and the town is very supportive. He's right downtown, in a small space, old classic building among a bunch of antique stores and other family run businesses. All in all, pretty cool.

Acquired the games over a period of 5 or 6 months for bottom dollar. This arcade is a side thing, not his primary gig.

I hope it succeeds and I would offer far more 'on-site' assistance if it weren't a 40 mile drive each way.

I've got a lot of respect for someone opening up an arcade in today's market. Hope they make it.

I agree, it takes guts, I wish a lot of luck too. I'd love to hit it up sometime if I'm ever out that way. The pricing I think is really cool, no need to haul a ton of quarters like the old days. haha.
