So I got this guy home from my storage unit, cleaned it up...and finally got it working (except sound, and monitor/sound could use a new caps)...

I honestly have no idea what to do with it...I dont plan on keeping it (i dont think), but I enjoy making things look new again

I honestly cant see any trace of it previously having sideart (which is odd to me)...also only 2 bracket holes on each side...one bad gouge about 1 ft town from top on its left side...minor things else where other than side edge chips...

Its offset t molding (ordered off here ;) )...and coin door needs to be re finished. Other than that and maybe repainting the back door, base, top... then im stuck

so should i try and sell/trade for a DK kit for this DK Jr.? ...should i even attempt to throw sideart on it? ( i really dont want to) decisions, decisions

It looks like it Ned a cap kit as the screen is a little compressed on the left side.

If you remove the carriage bolts hoding the monitors top mount, you will find some side art.

I would get the double dk Kit for it. But I don't think it's cost effective to do it and sell it, but it's a better choice than going or a dk conversion. I would replace tmolding and sell it..

yea, im going to prob just leave it be and throw t molding on it and let next owner decide its fate...

OR, I do have a VS Excitebike in a blue nintendo cab thats kinda beat up (next one coming home after this one is finished and taken back to storage)...could swap them and make a pretty nice looking VS Excitebike...

Love Excitebike! That pushes my vote.

Lesson from my experience, if you don't see yourself keeping something, don't put a lot of money into it hoping to get it back out (i.e. side art etc), if anything, make the game solid electrically and control wise and send it down the road for someone else to love. Swapping cabs if you need it is A-OK in my book. Just like collecting video game carts and doing "label upgrades" and selling the extra one

What would you trade for?

umm thats a good question, what do you have?

Well i was over at my buddies house (who wants the VS) and was happy about the idea..only issue is bracket holes on the side..I honestly rather not drill in 6 more (3 on each side) so the monitor can lay horizontal

So to keep "project" this simple im 90% positive ima slap some T-molding on there, maybe some black paint on base, top, back...touch up with Blue on edges, and move this guy along his way...
