Greetings. Ok, long story. I got this Open Ice PCB a while back because it had a bad CMOS chip. I removed everything from the board and installed it all in another board. SAME PROBLEM! So I removed everything again and put it all back in the original board (the one in the pics).
Now that I know it's not the CMOS chip, it stands to reason that it's something else not associated with the board itself. Don't know what would cause it, but I am thinking it's something to do with the revision roms or the security chip. Whatever it is, it causes the board to register as having a bad "U33 Custom Chip" and "Bad U49 Unable To Restore Factory Settings."
The game is on Free Play via the dip switches and GAME PLAY IS 100% GOOD! I played it for 30 minutes and didn't notice a single thing wrong with it. There's something in the chips that's making the game register a bad U33 and bad U49 because like I said, it's the same issue when I install all the chips in another good, tested board. To go the full route, I installed all the chips from my Rampage World Tour in this board and it was all good with NO errors.
Bottom line, I'd like to just sell this thing. How's $90 shipped sound since the game itself is fully playable with no issues? You can't adjust the volume because of the CMOS error, but it's plenty loud through default. Just shoot me a PM if interested!
