NEW Open Beta: Web-based Tournament Scoreboards, collection management and more.

A few people have already asked me about adding pinball support in the system which I would love to do.

In order to do this I need to source a csv style database of pinball machines complete with the same type of info you see on the site now. Manufacturer, year made, game description, images etc etc.

I know there are sites out there with this information and I am reaching out to them but if that falls through then I'm going to have to do this the good old fashioned way.

If anyone can provide me with actual COMPLETE database materials please hit me up in PM so we can talk and look at the files.

Looks great, thanks for investing the time! It'll be fun seeing it evolve.

For score submission, I'm guessing you only want scores from dedicated games and not multi-games, correct? I run an ArcadeSD in my Scramble and have hit some good scores on some of the games. Wasn't certain if I could post those or just the Scramble only.

Post whatever scores you like for your own games. I built the site so that anyone can have their own score tracking and make their own tournaments no matter what the size.

Signed up last night. Added most of the games in the basement to my line up. Would have loved it your site could just grab from VAPS, but that's just the American lazy guy in me. :D

Please post missing games in the support forums.

Working on uploading 640+ pinball machines, certainly not a full catalog but it should cover the most popular stuff and we can always add extras here and there as we find them.

I do most of my "forum-ing" from work and I can't get to your site from work due to being categorized as "games".

I've just finished adding 641 Pinball titles that I pulled from PinMame. Not an extensive catalog but it has most of the common classics from the main manufacturers. I'll have to add some of the more recent releases but this should be good enough to allow most people to now add their pins to their venues and be able to use them in scoreboards too.

I love this idea. I've been thinking of doing something like this on a raspberry pi to display on the TV in my game room during parties.
Yep just get a browser up on your screen with your tournament scoreboard and use your phone to enter your guests scores

Added a quick how-to video to the OP just to help people get started with venues and games. Having some issues with my screen cap software, has some issues with the cursor on screen so I'll have to redo it when I get the capture issues ironed out.

I'll be doing a few of these vids to help everyone get the most out of the site.

But for now it will do

I like what you've built, any chance of an API to let an outside display system retrieve data?

A couple of updates based on feedback...

- Added 'Pending' to the 'for sale' status option in Manage My Games.

- Added 'Sold' to the location status - This is for people who would like to archive their game after selling it rather than deleting it from their game list.

- Added the ability to upload your own picture of your game when adding/editing game info. This image will show in for-sale listings and in your 'Manage my Games' list.

- Classifieds listings show a games uploaded image (if set) and a truncated amount of text from your game listing. (Currently working on a better implementation of the single add page to include uploaded image and sale listing information.

Signed up this morning. Looks great!

Perhaps you can consider adding some type of "guest" user list that can be maintained by registered users. Lets say my buddy comes over and gets a high score on one of my games there should be an easy way to add his high score without setting him up as a full registered user of the site.

This will unfortunately never happen due to the way the site builds out a lot of the personalized pages based around user ID. I've tried to make the registration process as simple as possible, but people will have to sign up if they want to post scores.
