I am working on a Hanatrex 9000 monitor. (25") I have re-capped it... Fixed the curl problem. But it lacked brightness... After ordering a new flyback and installing the part. Now my monitor does a tick tick tick noise... like its trying to start up. I have a real gut feeling the new flyback I got is bad... The HOT is fine (not shorted). Anyone ever see a flowchart for repairs on this monitor. I found a polo chasis flow chart.

Thanks guys./

Turned out the NEW flyback I got from arcadeshop was bad... I put the second flyback in and it fired right up. Now I don't think I'm getting anywhere. I have re-capped the monitor. New flyback and my picture is still dim.. I've adjusted the 220k pot with no change. I have swapped it out with another 220k pot from another mtc9000 monitor. No dice... Do I just s#it can it and install a 25" WG monitor... Or is there one last thing I can check. I'm already sitting with 75 bucks in parts into this monitor (2 flybacks and 1 cap kit)

it probhably has a weak tube. make friends with somebody who has a rejuvenator, it will tall you for sure.

I've actually got one I was thinking of that but whats weird is it did the same thing on another tube...

hmmm... thats odd. Did you ever see the other tube work? Just sayin..

when you capped the chassis you did replace c205 right?

yup. c205 on the neck board. I think I'm just gonna $hitcan it.. ive never had any issues repairing monitors until I started on this one. I can repair WGs like the back of my hand.
