OK......how the hell do you remove them, without beating the back of the cab all to hell? And what are some of your horror stories in dealing with them. Thanks for the help.

take a pic of what you have..

on real stubborn bastards sometimes a dremel with a little cutoff wheel and make a slot on the head with it, get the fastener out with a flathead screwdriver.

Assuming you are talking about the security screws designed to not be turnable counter-clockwise, hold the screw in place with a screwdriver and remove the nut on the back side with a wrench.

The tool you show is good for the ones with two divet holes, but not for the kind that are like a stripped flathead screw that you can tighten, but not loosen. (not that I see that kind on many games though)

Wrong. This is exactly the tool for one way screws. The "tits" of this tool fit inside the narrow section between the sloped portion of the one way head. This allows the tool to back the screw out.

If that were the case then wouldn't a regular flathead screwdriver work as well?

BTW- Glad to see ya back around. You been awfully quiet lately.

No. The diameter and spacing of the "tits" is what allows you to take the screw out with this tool. Believe me, I have used this tool before (do not have one at the present).

You have to match the removal tool to the diameter of the one way screw. In other words a tool designed for # 8 one way screws only takes out # 8 one way screws.

I have a 4" grinder that'll make just about anything fit. :)

Seriously, I can see what you're saying...just never tried one of those tools on that particular style screw.
My (and probably most) security bit set has several sizes of those two pin bits in it, I'll have to give it a shot sometime.
