Quote from my nephew a few days ago, regarding my broken Computer Space: "I don't need to play it, I just want to see it there."

ONE OF US! ONE OF US!!!

Man, I thought that particular sickness was one that comes with..ahem...long experience. But he's already stricken. Poor kid. :D He also commented tonight that my broken Renegade (which was working earlier today) probably only died because I was having company. Heh...the force is strong with him!

I had the nephew and niece here for about an hour tonight. Niece had lots of fun playing Gauntlet II. But the real excitement came later when telling Daddy about playing 2-players on Satan's Hollow and Asteroids Deluxe at the same time and how we kept trading machines when we died. Nephew kept bugging me about coming over, and was just glad to finally get the chance. He was on every machine at some point I think. And he takes pride in the fact that he helped me get Indy back on his feet a couple of weeks ago. Now if only he keeps growing, and stays interested, maybe he can start carrying these things around for me! And his sister can help too! No, I love them both too much to curse them like that.

Both are good kids. Makes all the pain and suffering (F'in heavy Atari cabs...I'm looking at you!) worth it to see the kids getting a little taste of what we all remember from BITD.

Anyway, thanks for letting me share. And a special thanks to VectorInvader for getting me fired up enough to make tonight "The Night".

Awesome to hear. It really is a, "get it or you don't" hobby. New to it myself, people are bewildered of my interest in it.

We accept him one of us, gooble gobble, gooble gobble

Or if you prefer the original

:D

Well you know what to get those kids for a present now, right? If they live close enough you can start storing games there.

My daughter called last weekend wanting to know if we were going to be home, her and the kids were coming over to visit. Funny thing is that they didnt come in the house, they went to the gameroom:cool:

A couple months ago she also offered to let me "store" some of my extra "working" games in her garage. Hey, the overflow had to go somewhere:D. Course, the son in law doesnt want a pac or ms pac because hes afraid she'll never get any housework done if ones available:rolleyes:
