I have my Pinbot up and running. However, the second to the bottom red light in the middle of the playfield won't work. The bulb is good and the socket is good. All the other lights in this square work. Has anyone ever seen this before and what might be the cause? Thanks.

A couple of easy things come to mind. I would use a multimeter to check for continuity from pin to bulb and back to pin, a cracked pin may need to be reflowed. Also check the tabs from the bulb holder to make sure they are properly in contact with the circuit board. I have this often problem on some of my similar-age Williams and it is always a cracked pin or bad bulb tab.

If the bulb and the socket are good it could be that transistor that drives that particular lamp! Bust out your dmm and schematics!

Pinbot control the feature lamps via a matrix. Any transistor/driver board issue would be causing problems with an entire row or column.

If it's just one lamp, the problem has to be either the diode for that specific lamp, the lamp socket or wiring to that lamp (wiring fault feasability dependant on where in the chain that specific lamp is)

Maybe for Pinbot they do but on some Gottliebs they don't!!!!!
