Mark and Karen from Aurora Colorado are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their Christmas present. This was a beautiful game and one i'll probably never restore again. A little refrigerator box wrap and it's gone thursday morning.

Congrats on the sale Chris! I'm sure those people who bought it will be very happy New Tron owners you did a great job on that baby!

going to saudi aurora, huh? i'll have to see if i can intercept that so i can see some chris25810 handiwork in person!

The work that went in to that machine, you did good and the new owners are going to be doing back flips when that hits there door for xmas.

Wow! Thats all your doing to prepare the game for shipment?

You spend all that time restoring a game, and you can't put in an hour more to strap it to a pallet and build a crate for it?

I hope that works out for you, I would hate to see such a nice game get destroyed in transit. (not to mention cancel the charge and ebay fight.)

Are you kidding bill? This was shot before I was done wrapping it. It's now sitting on a pallet with a shitload of 2" styrofoam and 4 layers of refrigerator box covering everything. I also made sure that the sellers paid the extra fees to insure it for what they paid for it.

It's ok Chris, she's going to a good home...(hands Chris a Kleenex while patting shoulder).

Well, you listing said "A little refrigerator box wrap and it's gone thursday morning".

I would also hope its strapped to the pallet.. All the layers would not protect it if it fell off. I hope it gets there safe.

All I can say is don't bet on insurance. Guy sent me a item that was damaged in transit due to improper packing. UPS deined the claim due to improper packing and the shitty thing was Mail boxes ect packed it (their own company).

If you did charge the people extra to prep it, How much more would it have cost you to buy 2 sheets of plywood 4 2x4's and few nails to build a crate around the cabinet..

I think its safe to say Chris would bulletproof this thing before it left. Actually, he's pretty shady, so who knows...

i sold a Q*BERT to this guy {sexykaren25} same guy, in october, his shipping company was responsible for all package and handling he handled all of it on his end. when the machine left my hands it worked perfect, when he got it evidentally bouncing across the u.s. in the back of a truck and getting transfered to another truck and handled by a bunch of monkey's isnt to kind to a 25 year old machine! only 5 of the sounds were working and there was damage to the cab,he opened a case on me in ebay later dropped it and reported a claim with his shipping company. i spoke to him, he said he had to buy another Q from a guy locally because it was for his wife and wanted it to be in better condition. he's a nice guy and everything worked out in the end but be real careful is all i can say.

when I see Chris do an enviromental DOT resto than Ill be impressed :D

But at that price one can only assume its going to a good home.
