One Last Game Line Up Change (Honest Input Needed)

i would remove the ranger mission, one of your two punchouts, and one of the williams games, being you have the multi williams. as far as going back in, i'd add the whirlwind pin, mario widebody, and zookeeper.

No, can't get rid of a classic pong. Even if it doesn't get played much it should stay.

When space becomes an issue, "fun to play" is more important than "classic". Is it a game room or a museum? I dig my Space Invaders and the classic ambience it provides, but if space ever becomes an issue, it'll be the first to go.

IN: Whirlwind Pinball, Zoo Keeper, Mario Wide Body, Mad Planets

OUT:
12. Punch Out (You have Super)
18. Playchoice 10 Dual Monitor (You have the Countertop, better for space)
37. Tekken 5
38. Ranger Mission/Sports Shooting USA

Ok I just put a * next to the ones I'm keeping for sure. If I was to get rid of my Joust and Moon Patrol then I will keep my Multi-Williams or the other way around. I want a shooter and I like ranger mission, but dont love it even though sports shooting usa is growing on my the last time I played it. What are the best shooter out there that are not in a monster size machine? It started as a museum/have to have games sort of speak then when space became an issue I started to get rid of them. I had a nice Space Invaders,Food Fight,Tempest,Crystal Castles,Arm Wrestling,Tron, both types of Crazy Climbers etc. But these games I never played growing up and they didn't grow on me when I had them unlike Tapper,Timber,Reactor,Wild Western & Ice Cold Beer. So Its mainly fun games now and all the games I listed in the op I like. Also thinking about the Punch Out now that it making more since to just have one since I have this space issue. You guys are a big help. Thanks.

Who cares what we think? Keep what you will PLAY and the games YOU LIKE. This "hobby" has turned into "he who shows off the most toys" it seems. I'm not saying this to be negative, but only YOU know what YOU like and what will get played. Don't keep something just so you can say "I have such and such" if it will never get played. For every game people have just to have and never play there are 10 people who really want those and will show them love.

Jow! I'm not showing these games off in anyway shape or form. I just like to hear what other people think about the games I have in this situation. I posted this because I like all the games I listed now and expressed that I had some rare titles that I got rid of because I was just keeping them because of that. I also mentioned that I still have a few reare ones, but I honest like them now that they grew on me. I got rid the so call rare games already and now I stuck with a about 5 or so games to many that won't fit in my basement. The advice some gave I never really thought about, so that helped me realized I don't really need it and might as well replace it with something else. Sometimes you need others to open your eyes and make you see things in a different way. Well at least I do since I have no time to think as it is. At the end of the day I no it all comes down to me, but I can honestly say I will be taking a few peoples advice on games to get rid of that I most like wouldn't have got rid of thought about get rid of.

Trust me I'm would love to have a party and get my place together. This post along with DogP's gameroom will keep me motivated in doing so. I really need to have a clearance sale party!

Hey Darryl, do you have a finished-off storage area in your basement where you could store a few of these games without having to get rid of any and then just periodically rotate them in and out to change things up a bit? That may also help you decide which ones are really the "keepers."

I say get rid of these:

Moon Patrol (because you have a multi-williams)
Joust (because you have a multi-williams)
Phoenix (Just because :D )
PC10 Dual monitor ( you have a countertop one/ space)

Yeah I hadsomething like that before and had a few people come by and everyone bought something. I have way to much stuff to try to list for sale so I have to figure out other ways to sell this stuff.

You suck and so does that tank your about to try to bring home this weekend. L.O.L. I think I going to take some of these klovers advice and dumb these games

1. Hypersports since I have a Track & Field already. (I will probably sell it without the board)
2. Playchoice 10 Dual Monitor since I do have a counter top (not the same, but serves its purpose)
3. Multi-Williams since I have most of the top games dedicated
4. Ranger Mission & Punch Out are up in there air right now
* I also am considering moving my dj equipment to the parts room since I dont use it that much. Only problem is storage and/or getting rid of the parts.
* I would love to get my Daytonas or Sega Super GTs down here, but I know I'm dreaming.

Thanks everyone for helping me see the light!

I am in a similar position on the multi williams vs keeping my original williams games up and running. Just for reliability I love the multi and would keep both for now but you could always keep a jrok board and control panel and swap it into an original game later if needed.

You could also move some games upstairs or convert your garage into an arcade!

Wick

That was the orginal plan for one side of the garage. I have the carpet and all, I have my drivers up there, but that place is so messed up right now with games and oter household stuff I cant see me ever getting it in a condition to hold games. I would have to do one hell of a reorganizing job up there. I will see how progress I make on my basement this week.

So the games that might be cut are as follows:
3. Commando
4. Multi-Williams
5. Joust
6. Moon Patrol
12. Punch Out
15. Taitotronics Phoenix
16. Original Pong
18. Playchoice 10 Dual Monitor
19. Playchoice 10 Countertop
20. Baby Pacman
35. Virtua Tennis 2 (Naomi Universal Cab)
38. Ranger Mission/Sports Shooting USA

And these 3 asterix games have to go in with the others as optional?

Whirlwind Pinball *
Restored Hyper Sports
Zoo Keeper * (If I can get it running)
Dedicated Pacmania *
Mario Wide Body
Tin Star
Mad Planets
Kickman

So here's my questions. Why keep Jouse, Moon Patrol, Defender and Robotron, when you have a Multi-Williams. From what I hear the game play is dead on with that board. So my suggestion is to pick your favorite Williams cab, and put the multi Williams in it and get rid of the rest. But if that doesn't work,
Keep the multi Williams and your must have Robotron and Defender, and get rid of Moon Patrol and Joust

Cut Commando

Pull the board out of Punchout, and do a duel mount inside the Super Punchout cab...or vice versa.

Keep the phoenix as its rare, different, and has the whole Japanese sweetness going on.

You have to keep the pong just for the historical aspect.

Get Rid of the 2 monitor pc10.

Get rid of Baby Pac Man. You know its just going to be broken in a year or two anyways.

Keep the Virtua Tennis, but only if you plan on converting it to something kick ass like Ikaruga.

Get rid of Ranger mission.

Games you have to keep off that second list is:
Mad Planets
Dedicated Pacmania
Zoo Keeper
Whirlwind Pinball
Mario Wide Body

Hope that's an answer that makes sense.

Guys I was at DJ's today and believe me he has so much stuff sitting around he cant possibly even know what he has... I lifted some multi williams side art and a bezel while
i was there... when he does have a clearance sale dont miss it!!!!!!!!!!!!

DJ,
Keep the multi williams with your moon patrol in there too... Sell off the ded Moon Patrol. Get rid of the 2 mon playchoice. The baby pac and the Granny I still think I can sell for you as a package deal. Move the Dj stuff out and u could fill that wall up with games so really wouldnt have to get rid of that many.....

I regret selling some of my rare stuff... So think about it long and hard before you sell something really rare..

If I lived closer I would help u out with straightening up ....Damn trip is an all day event for me...
Later,
