I'm looking at a complete 2 seat Sega Super GT tomorrow, fully functional and pretty cheap IMO. I understand they are not fun to move and I can work with that. What I don't have is space for both in my arcade.

I'd like to use just one of the cockpits, hang the marquee from the ceiling with my other lit pieces and then use the second machine for parts/spares. Is this just as easy as splitting them and powering up? Will I only have to deal with a link error at startup?
