One game you want but know you probably wont ever have

Alot of my stuff I want is within reason, just a matter of timing!

Pinwise.. probably this guy because it's so rare.....

Nostalgia is personal, thats what makes it great. Bad movie, worse video game. Yet theres a guy that would totally love to have the pin. Awesome! Hope you get it one. If I ever see one in the wild, I'll remember you.

Interesting observation: a four page thread listing games that people would love to have - but Rainman is the only one who has one of them listed in a wanted line in his signature.

I don't know if it would increase the odds of getting one, but it couldn't hurt. Now excuse me while I add a wanted line to my sig....
Yes, now if someone will sell me one for cheap, I will be ALLLLLLLL set... until the next game I need. LOL!

Good point. Signature updated. :)

For me, it's probably a Monster Bash pinball machine. I never say never, but they typically fetch around $5K. I don't see myself having that kind of coin to drop on a game any time soon.

Adams Family Pinball for me. I just can't justify that much on one game when there are so many more I want and could buy with that same amount:)

The one game I want but probably will never have is the original Gradius for three reasons:

1) It was originally released for the Konami Bubble System arcade board, which is very unreliable. Because of this, it's hard to find a working board.
2) The ROM chip rerelease is INSANELY expensive(I saw it go for several thousand dollars US on Yahoo! Japan auctions).
3) Its harder variant, Nemesis, is pretty much nowhere to be found.

Yeah the movie sucked BUT I'm a big fan of this era of Gottliebs!

The only caveat to this is only 10 are known to exist and I believe the last one went for 12kish....

Might sound dumb..

I have wanted a SW: Episode 1 pin for a long time now...but never seem to have the cash to get one...

Maybe someday though!

Happy New Year, btw, everyone!

Jess

I am after a Dragon's Lair, but not yet.

I think a wanted list means you want it right now.

One day I will add it to my signature :)

Star Wars 25" Amp cockpit.
Reasons why it will probably never happen...
1) I've been looking in my area for 5 years and one hasn't popped up yet
2) I don't have the space for it right now
3) I need to hit the Mega Millions next week to afford it

wmba i have a starwars upright needs a monitor NOT FOR SALE

Theres a list as long as my arm that I want, but only one comes to mind as my newest favoritest greil.

Castlevania: The Arcade

With a probable price tag of 6K, and the fact that they failed to release it to the US or Europe, the only way to get one is import it from Japan. Oh yeah, its the size of a truck to boot.

However, I did consider selling practically all of my games in an effort to get one when they first came out. Damn Konami for not releasing it to the states.

I'm still searching for one of these, since Zud won't sell me his :D

I have a bunch of boards, but no cab. I think that's the best looking of them (the other common one was just plain woodgrain, looking alot like a Frogger cab)
