Is anyone else getting slaughtered this month with last run of once in a lifetime offers and production runs?
I'm trying to keep up with Warlords, Eliminator, Lunar Lander, Star Trek, Star Wars and Star Castle and Feb seems to be the magic month where everything is coming together and the stars are aligning.
Not bitching or anything, just wish things would spread out a little bit thoughout the year and some kind of stock left over.
I'm hoping some of the sold-out runs that have been made may be offered again someday.
It's just hard if you have a number of projects as opposed to a few. :)

I'm glad these projects are happening at all. Even if miss some of them.

It's like KISS making it big, but complaining about having to wear the makeup.. or hitting the lottery and complaining about the taxes..

some of us are broke asses.. and faced with never being able to restore the machines we like, when we have to choose what repro part we can afford.

November and December were like that for me, a ton of great games came home with me. I've gotten some good ones this year too but more projects than anything.

I agree
I am holding back on Amp deflections release a few months because of this sudden rush of 1 offs

I did notice: control panels, Grail Harnesses, grail multi games, machines for sale, projects
Everyone's got lots of trades going on to pay for their next project

I am waiting for a Dragon's lair Lazer Disk replacement to be suddenly dropped on the market, and have to come up with $$ real quick

Matt O is working on the laser disc replacment PCB right now (Dexter) and its going to be expensive! I agree this year has been awesome for hobby parts for rarer titles. I know I can't afford everything I want either.

I'm just glad that I *can* keep up with all these new projects (at least money-wise, time-wise all this shit is just getting further and further backlogged).

What is being done for Star Wars? Something cockpit-related? Did I miss something?

cockpit sideart is in the works

and Amplifone stuff is being reproduced, so if a yoke gets made, looks like one could build a whole new monitor, with a donor tube, someday

I would think a hard part to get would be a cockpit shroud/bezel for the 25" monitor.

+1. One of these days I'll get old and slow down and then start building from the parts I'm hoarding. :D

That, or we will just die off and our stuff will end up as a 15-minute segment on Storage Wars or some such tripe. :D

That would suck! My wife would probably have a yard sale and after the local folks turn their noses up at "old" electronics, they'd end up at the dump. I think we KLOVers need local collector friends to be like god-parents for our arcade parts so that if we die prematurely our family can actually make some money off the parts selling them through proper channels and not trash them without knowing how much they just threw away! :D

Haha, yeah, that is my fear. I have no doubt that if my parents or siblings went through my apartment and storage they would probably only see worthless junk that is not worth the hassle of trying to sell, rather than about 20 restored, working classics and boxes upon boxes of repro and NOS project pieces.

Ah, well, I suppose it does give me pleasure to think that they would miss out on the profit and/or actually have to spend money to throw everything out. My family sucks. :D

I know the feeling.......but that requires MORE SPACE!

I am building a second floor in my barn now. When I am done with the barn, it will be close to 3,500 extra sq feet of space. My house is only 2,000 sq ft. + an attic that could be finish at some point. My wife has a big addition for the house on my 5-year plan. I have 8 acres of property so I can make all the space I want. :D
