Spending the next 5 days in Omaha.. I've been to the pizza place that has a decent selection of games.. Anywhere else to go? The Waiting Room bar is a block from the house, they had some pins a year or 2 ago..

Any fellow Klover's in Omaha? I'd love to check out someone's collection.. Show me what the Midwest has to offer :)

Thanks!

Family Fun Center

I didn't mention that place, cause it was Eh.. Last time I checked it, 2 years ago.. Has it improved? There was a cool used console game store close by that had vextrex systems for sale and a few upright games..

When I lived in Omaha in '88-'90 (2nd-4th grade) Family Fun Center was the shit. It had tons of games (two stories) and an indoor go cart track. Pretty sweet. I wonder what its like now.

What kinds of arcade and / or pinball are you looking for? Dave & Buster's has newer arcade games. No pinball. I was at the one around 132nd & Center a couple of weeks ago. Mainly car racing and gun games. I enjoyed the new Terminator Salvation gun game.

The Family Fun Center was a disappointment when I was there a few weeks ago to check out some for sale cabs. Very run down with many older games not working. They had a lot of games running with a home game system (Xbox 360 or Wii) running the show.

Pinball Past has mainly older pinball machines. Good to check out and play for free. Always have about a dozen machines. Sometimes they'll have a newer (1990's) machine too. That is where I bought my T2.

Bene Pizza & Pasta is by far the best place I've been to in Omaha. Lots of older arcade machines and a nice selection of pins.

Now...when I finish my arcade...I might not have to leave the house to find the best place in town...but that won't be until next year...

Omaha

Check out the games I have listed in my signature.. I like pretty much every thing pre-1986ish.. Some newer games are ok, but I'm a huge fan of pinballs!

Family Fun Center sucks unless you like Redemption games and MAME'ed classics. Oh yeah, I forgot the Guitar Hero on X-Box hooked up to a car wash timer and a projection TV. They have a decent indoor minigolf course. They used to have a sweet classics section but its gone. The room was full of pool tables last time I went (year ago). There was a pin wall with 7 to 10 pins at the back of the main floor but that's gone too. Only pin I saw last time was an Episode 1. The place was really lame. It used to be much better about 14 - 15 years ago.

Sad to hear.

Pinball Past!!

Just hung out at Pinballpast! Great little shop, met the owner and played a ton of pinball.. He even showed us the backroom and all the projects.. He told us about a pool hall near my buddies house that has a nice collection of pins, midevil madness, pinbot, and a bunch of others.. On our way there now.. Thanks for the leads!
