I'm sending a BIG thank you out to Troy (MtZRcade) for taking the time to sell and ship the 19" 8-liner monitors. I got mine last week and threw it into the Centipede and it looks great! Thanks Troy!!!

Doesn't look like a very good monitor. Your centipede seems to have a serious Millipede burn. :D

lol shoulda mentioned the multi??? :D

It really is the nicest used monitor I've ever bought. This one has all the monitor adjustment controls in software on the monitor. No burn in either!

Sorry guys, but im done in the monitor selling business, at least for now. I have sold almost 300 of the 8 liners as complete units. Parted out quite a few, and have just a few left to sell as whole units.

Also, i did have one person say that their monitor arrived broken, i dont know how to do claims through USPS and every monitor was shipped with all the styrofoam as bit slicer showed in the picture above. every monitor was insured for the 100 purchase price. If i am thinking right, you will need to have pictures and show how it was packaged. If anyone can give clues, as to what to do, please post here

Lastly, I am actually in Mexico right now on vacation and wont be answering emails, so if you are trying to get in touch with me, im ignoring you for this week while im travelling

thanks
troy

I had a GO8 arrive to my door on the last 15th day it was suppose to be deliverd, smashed into a million pieces of glass... The post master himself dropped it off at my door to tell me it was broke and to file a claim at the post office..

Goto the post office with the broken item (they are gonna wanna see it broke if they dont know).. They will give you a form. You are gonna have to get ahold of seller for insurance # on his reciept your gonna need that. Fill the form out. They will take the item and they will stamp it claims or not...

Now in my case they knew it was broke so they told me to put it in the dumpster in the back of the post office... Now remind you the tube was broke not the x/y defection board.....wink...wink.....

thats it, youll get your insurance claim 2 weeks after...

Anyone want to send me their monitor box? I need to ship a 19" over here to another forum member!! :))

Ups

You need to contact UPS to file the claim. Keep all the packing material. Until there "investigation" is complete. Depending on there work load, they will either send an investigator out to look at the damage or go off the pictures. They will most likely deny the claim for one bullshit reason or the other. You have to try though. I have never had a claim with UPS paid yet. I do not use them any more.
