BTW -- The game has been acting a little goofy...

I think it might be a combination of voltage issues and a flaky SSIO board.

Issues:

#1 - Sound coming out of the left speaker cuts out or doesn't work at all. It's intermittent, and unpredictable. Also getting a hum or white noise sound continuously out of the left speaker. I think white noise/or hum is related to switcher.

#2 - The discs that Tron and Sark stand on start scrolling left to right on the levels when there are more than two of these discs on the screen. It's not the monitor, as the score and details of the room remain stationary. The only thing that scrolls are the characters and the disc platforms and the thrown discs.

I thought I fixed #1 by reflowing solder on the header pins. It worked great. But then it cut-out again. I played with the voltages on the switcher and cranked it to 5.1 or so. That seemed to fix both #1 and #2. But then I came back to the game and the left speaker had no sound again and #2 was happening. So... I swapped the sound CPUs. There are two of them. I know one controls Left, the other Right. That seemed to fix the issue! For now. I haven't tested it long term, only a few games. But they played and sounded perfect.
