Omgwtfbbq!!!!!!!!

Back in the day, I preferred Turbo over PP.

The only driving game I own now is a sit down Indy 500 single unit.

Rush 2049 is the way to go if you have the space...

DOT is a cool game. It's time in the arcades was very short as I recall. When it came out interest in the arcades and video games in general had really cooled. I remember thinking "another game based on Tron?...that movie came out years ago..."

Man, nice pick up John! To echo what others have said, how do you find these deals? There must be hidden gems all around the New England area that have Blkdog7 written all over them. I hope you get it up and running soon with a video review.

This thing has two black lights. Any specific type of black light bulb/s I should be looking for?

Not sure if it's the same on DOT, but on Tron, the fixture above the control panel is a standard black light, and the lower should actually be a white blacklight. Check out the "And there was (black) light..." entry here: http://home.earthlink.net/~rescuetron/

Jow, I am not sure the SF will make it to the basement. :( It might end up being a garage game.

DoT is a basement game and something has to go. What? I don't know! :)

It's either gonna be Turbo, Domino Man, Punch-Out or Popeye.

Turbo, the rest are classics! (never even heard of Turbo).

I'd get rid of Turbo, Punch Out and Popeye... All three kind are just Ok in my eyes... So, only you can decide... However, Popeye is part of the Ninty Row!

Turbo or Punch-Out would get my vote! Better yet, both and bring something else down with DOT.

I talked to my wife and kids and they all voted Domino Man and Popeye!! My daughter and wife both want Turbo to stay!

DOT only has regular blacklights. Nice pickup BTW. I have the Arcadeshop adapter in mine and don't have the hum, but you need to have the 20amp PS and adapter, not the lighter weight one you might have used in Tapper. As for where to put it, I was trying to think of the same thing. I'm not a big Popeye fan, but that gets good play and looks good in your row. Domino Man probably gets less play, but I think it looks nice. I hate to say it, but I was thinking Turbo might be the odd man out since you've already got PP down there? And you've been trying to sell it, right? I say move the NeoGeo where your Tron is and then put Tron where Turbo is and DOT where your NeoGeo is. It's kind of a darker area of your room and will show off the blacklights better.

Which Power Supply should I get? I am using this one now (it's 15amp on the +5) with an AS adapter I had left over from my Tapper:

It's far from quiet. I am trying to figure out if it's my dirty connectors or the power supply.I might just rebuild an original MCR PS, but I would prefer to use a switcher if I know it can be isilent and perfect.

i think thats right. the adapter should screw right to it.

On my tron, with that adapter ands that ps, i had no hum that some of you fellers complain about. Its been conjectured that the hum with the non original supply is due to using a cheap switcher and not the good one, i guess youll be the one to test this theory for sure.

I change my vote...Domino Man. Does it get much play? Slide Turbo next to PP and then move the others like I said ;)

I love seeing DM in the arcade but the reality is, it doesn't get any play. :( I might remove it from the arcade and stick it in the garage and then see how I feel in a few months. If I miss it, I'll put it back. Otherwise, I'll sell it.

Not sure if I'll even have the DoT ready this year. Still have a lot of work to make it ready for prime time. :)

Use up some of that wasted space and keep them all! Move that table next to the Tapper, put the Domino Man there. The TV above the table can be moved above the megatouch.

Problem solved! ;)

I do like some white space in the basement! :)

I agree. I wish I had more room to show off side art. Sucks to spend $180 for Tron sideart then hide it between two games. My problem is that I just don't have a full room, so to keep what I have I am forced to put them side by side.

john, after much consideration, deliberation and thought, ive decided that you need your own ninty(tm) omgwtfbbq(tm) gang sign!!!!
