Today I got my Secret Santa package and I have to say that I am BLOWN AWAY at the thoughtfulness, creativity, and shear awesomeness of this gift! HOLY CARP!!!!!

Not only did I get an AMAZING set of HOMEMADE "NINTY" Coasters that features a NINTY controller Coaster holder and six beyond cool pixel perfect coasters, I also received a MArio Bros. DVD, DK Pez Dispenser, 1up mushroom mints, and some Mario Mart trading cards. WOW!! I feel like a schmuck for just sending a t-shirt to my recipient.

I AM ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THAK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

The sender was from PA and his name was Denny P. Not sure who is on here but I really want to thank you . BLOWN AWAY.

I already had this mug, but it looks happy on that coaster, no?

Denny P from PA = cueball... you're very welcome

it was tough thinking of how to meet your simple wish list, which was : "NINTY!".. so from one of my posts trying to get other ideas, i saw a link to the perler bead coasters. So there was no time to cop out and order them, I dug through and made them with the help of my wife (with the iron).

I was REALLY happy that i could work 'ninty' into the coaster holder (which was a unique idea of my own - the coasters were already in pics out there)..

My wife was glad to hear that you like them as well, as she was my ironer and helped with the cork on the coasters.

if anyone else wants something like those, i can make other sets - i just need to take a break through the new year as my schedule has been crazy busy and i need some time off.

I agree with John, that is indeed a very thoughtful and creative gift. I had totally forgotten about those beads... Cueball (and co.) did a great job... although I'm sure there's more than a few guys here that will be disgusted with the use of "Ninty"... ;)

Cueball - that is awesome my friend. Really.

And the candies, not sure they are mints. I got my daughter a green mushroom just like that and they were kind of like sweet tarts, only better. My kid and I really liked them.

Of course, the candies are the least impressive of your take, but thought I'd add my .02 about the candies.

At first glance, I thought "If somebody sent me something that cool but it said Ninty, I'd probably have to throw it in the trash"...

but then I saw that he actually requested "NINTY!!" so I guess it's alright. I don't think I'd be able to look at that word all day without trying to throw up a little bit though, lol. I'm getting sick just now because I've said the word twice.

The fact that it says "Ninty" makes it that much better and more thoughtful. I love it!

Or:

"I just bought a new 'tendo wii and I think its a piece of shit."

(true story, I hate it. I wanna kick the shit out of it.)

If you have it hooked up to a flatscreen, find a normal standard def tube TV, it's a lot more enjoyable when it doesn't look like complete crap thanks to upscaling in the TV.

And I can't believe this hasn't been done yet, so....I guess the mushroom will make your breath minty fresh and the coasters will keep your coffee table ninty fresh. *ducks*
