Is Q*BERT the only video arcade with 'NICE KNOCKERS'?

I keep trying to find one of these machines to add to my collection...

Is Q*BERT the only video arcade with 'NICE KNOCKERS' ?.......

What price ranges have you guys seen these going for around?

I'm not looking for a completely restored one, just one that has most or all parts working or not.

Love the sound affect, "Ahhhhh (then knock)!!" I was lucky enough to convince the wife (my 2 sons didn't need any convincing) to make a road trip up to Portland just about a week after Ground Control re-opened. That place is pretty cool, but they should serve beer all day! I got a chance to play the Q*BERT there a few times.

I've seen working Q-berts usually sit around $550. The key is buying it fully working, as you may find yourself with quite a headache if certain items are broken or missing.
 
Your arcade is looking good. So many great games! That Q*Bert sure is in nice shape.

I'd love to get a Q*Bert in my collection. I used to play it a lot back in the day. It's also the only game my wife says she wants, so I know if I brought one home I wouldn't get the "you bought another game??" look. ;)

I bought mine non-working. You gotta take the chance. Got it home, it was the interlock. :D
 
i bought just a cab painted black from mudmantim...found all the parts semi-easily. harness and control panel were the hardest.

Forgot to mention before - your website is great!

My 11yr old asks at least twice a week if you have any new updates on your site. Its always a crackup hearing your take on the games history. My son also cracks up every time you say "Piece of Shit!" or "Fuck!" :) I brought him up right to know he isn't supposed to cuss - he has all of the Green Day albums on his iPod which also contains colorful language. If my wife knew she might get a little upset - but then again she has 'colorful' language from time to time also.....

Keep up the great work - are you going to CAX this year?

The snake's name is "Coily" right? I seem to remember that from the cartoon. Used to play it for hours on my 5200, but I really sucked. Didn't know about the knocker...cool!
 
I've heard from a reliable source that the starter of the other thread Q*bert thread is a fraud! He used to "hate" Q*bert!!! Only true fans of Q*bert should be leading a Q*bert group!
