Never heard of it and don't remember seeing it. And I was "there" BITD :D Guess I'm just not as hard core as you guys.

I had a very nice one I sold a few years back. Didn't really go for much. Less than $500 if I recall. I still have some contact info on the buyer- I think he was trying to sell it, but was marking it up by the cost of shipping :)

It, too, had 'less than zero' plays on it. I'm thinking it was shy of zero by about 200 plays.

It was nice, but not super special. The insides look generic, like any cocktail.
I've got an upright since then :)

kstillin, please send me that buyer's contact info. $3k is a lot, but a new G08 that doesn't have tons of hours seems like that's worth something.

$500 seems like a good price for it.

You said the same thing about my Eliminator...maybe your youth gaming haunts were anti Sega vectors.......

LOL nah, matter of fact I made mention of this game last night to the fellow old arcade veterans I was in line with at TRON night- they hadn't heard of it either. Then again, I never saw Robotron as a kid either, but an acquaintance who grew up in Jersey worshipped that game and said he'd played it all the time. So, there's definitely some "regionality" to these games IMO.

that is the fantastic Nichi Crazy Climber.

Not sure what's so fantastic about it -- they are made out of flimsy balsa wood and look like hell with that control panel bolted on the front like it was an afterthought. I owned one years ago and don't miss it a bit (and I love the game itself).

Space Fury was one of my all time favorites as a teen. Only saw one cocktail version in an arcade but saw several uprights in local Md arcades. I've been wanting one in my collection for years but, at 3K, I'll have to pass on this one.
